Bernadette Bajuscik that take up a significant amount of our time. However, the most important thing we should spend our time working on is developing relationships with our donors. The guests had a delightful evening as they glided across the dance floor and bid on silent auction items.

In February Franciscan Community Benefit Services, which is responsible for St. Jude House and the Madonna Foundation, was one of 18 charities that participated in First Look for Charity, sponsored by the Chicago Auto Trade Association. The ballroom echoed with the sounds of laughter, music, and good cheer. Our guests enjoyed delicious appetizers as they visited with friends both old and Synchronicity entertaining the room for First Look for Charity new. A high point of the evening was guest speaker, Zorida Sambolin from Channel 5 News, who gave a moving speech to those gathered. Ms. Sambolin is an alumna of Madonna High School and a former student of Sister Diane Marie Collins, our General Minister.

Sister Marifilia served as the Director of the Medical Records Department and the medical library at Saint John Hospital in Huron, SD from 1947 until 1970.
