Entry Fees Poultry £1:50 per entry. No eggs at this show. Free entry to Heligan if you have entered four birds or more. All other show supporters will need to pay full price to enter the Gardens.

*Entrants to classes 74 and 75 must assemble at their show pen at mid-day with a responsible adult. Exhibitors will be asked to remove their bird from the pen and talk about them. Birds entered can be pure bred or hybrids. Heligan Rare Breed Poultry & Waterfowl Show rules:
1. This Show is run in accordance with current PCGB rules and the Rare Poultry Club representative is Mr Steve Davies
2. All exhibits to be penned by 9:30 a.m. on Sunday 17th November 2019.
3. In exceptional circumstances birds may be penned between 3 & 4.30 p.m. on Saturday 16th November 2019 by prior arrangement only.
4. Pen numbers will not be sent in advance but can be collected in The Barn on arrival.
5. The decision of the judges is final. Judging begins at 10am prompt.
6. The committee has sole jurisdiction over objections. Any objection must be made in writing with a deposit of £10 by 1pm on the day of the Show. The deposit is returnable if the objection is upheld.
7. All exhibits must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor. 8. Whilst every possible care will be taken of the exhibits, the Committee will not be liable for any loss or damage to persons or property.
9. Watering and feeding remain the duty of the exhibitor throughout the show. Drinkers are provided.
10. No exhibits to be removed until after the prize giving at 3.30pm unless arranged in advance by the Committee.
11. The committee maintains the right to split or merge classes or appoint replacement judges.
12. In the case of an Avian Influenza outbreak, entries will be refunded upon request, otherwise will be treated as a donation to the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
13. Withdrawal of entries prior to the show will not be refunded.
14. Heligan Gardens reserves the right to refuse admission to the Barn and to evict any exhibitor from the show.
15. Without a completed declaration form, birds will not be accepted to the show. This is to ensure bio security is prioritised.
16. No dogs will be allowed within The Barn area other than assistance dogs.
