TFor so many Sandroydians the year has absolutely flown by and when they take time to reflect on how much they have achieved, they are astonished as to how it has all been packed in. For our Year 8 leavers, the summer term is a time of important exams, followed by a celebration of achieving their goals before enjoying their remaining few weeks at Sandroyd. During these last weeks, there is much excitement about the next stage, yet also the inevitable sadness about leaving behind firm friendships and a whole raft of experiences. Some of our Year 8 leavers joined the Walled Garden aged just 2! The reality, of course, is that many of these friendships will last a lifetime, and the memories and experiences will be cherished forever. As a school, we would not be doing our job properly if our leavers were not excited and ready for the next stage of their schooling.
