GALERIE LÉLIA MORDOCH | PARIS Pia MYrvoLD, WANDS, 2015, première génération de sculptures intelligentes © Pia MYrvoLD Pia MYrvoLD | Créer l’hybride 22 septembre - 28 octobre 17 vernissage jeudi 21 septembre (18h-21h) Artiste exploratrice de l’art numérique, Pia MYrvoLD conçoit des sculptures intelligentes. WANDS est la première génération de ces sculptures interactives, totems anthropomorphes suspendus, qui pro- duisent de la lumière, de la musique ou projettent des images alentour. Grâce à leur programmation et à des capteurs intégrés, les œuvres réagissent à la présence humaine et leur comportement varie selon le mouvement, la température ou le nombre de personnes. Avec plusieurs vidéos et de grands tirages photographiques, l’exposition présente également les recherches récentes de cette artiste norvégienne sur les formes et les environnements virtuels, ainsi que quelques pièces plus anciennes. Dans Transforming Venus (2012), la déesse de l’amour, symbole de maternité, devient un artefact dont la forme évolue jusqu’à s’évanouir. Interactives ou immersives, toujours pluridisciplinaires, les œuvres aux surfaces multiples de Pia MYrvoLD jouent avec la dualité des espaces réels et virtuels dans un panache de couleurs, de sons et de fantaisie.
