PREPARE TO LOAF OUT LOUD AS NICKELODEON DELIVERS NEW ANIMATION BREADWINNERS Expect hilarious escapades, high energy and booty-shaking music in plucky new series Breadwinners, premiering on Monday 22nd September at 4:30pm only on Nicktoons London, 20th August 2014 – New animated comedy Breadwinners follows SwaySway and Buhdeuce, two hilarious ducks who operate a bread delivery service out of their jet-fueled, Rocket Van, feeding hungry beaks everywhere. Breadwinners is an original production from the Nickelodeon Animation Studios and will premiere on Monday 22nd September at 4:30pm on Nicktoons. Throughout the series SwaySway, the upbeat leader of the flock and his loyal best friend Buhdeuce go on riduckulous adventures together. From eating a loaf of ‘Stank Bread’ and getting lost on the lower yeastside, to record-beaking attempts for most bread deliveries in one day, nothing will stop this duo from making a delivery all while shaking their tail feathers. Breadwinners will air regularly on weekdays at 4:30pm. For fans who can’t wait, the first episode will sneak beak on the Nick App on 15th September. In the series premiere, “Thug Loaf,” when SwaySway and Buhdeuce have to deliver bread to the bad part of Duck Town, they accidentally lock their keys in the Rocket Van and have to befriend a gang of Biker Ducks for help. The Nick App will also play host to the ‘Breadwinners Ducktionary’ where viewers can brush up on their beak lingo. Steve Borst (Teen Titans Go!, MAD) and Gary “Doodles” Di Raffaele (MAD, Metalocalypse) teamed up to produce Breadwinners which was discovered as part of Nickelodeon’s 2012 Animated Shorts Program. -

The sleek helicopter began its descent against a backdrop of breathtaking tropical mountains and rain forests, finally hovering in the face of a plunging waterfall, then settling on the landing pad of Jurassic Park. It is a memorable live action moment from the Steven Spielberg motion picture, which widened our view of what is real and what is make believe. Spielberg’s scene was taken from Michael Crichton’s best selling novel, set on an imaginary island off the shore of the Central American nation of Costa Rica. But it was shot on the island of Kauai, in the Hawaiian archipelago. The picture grossed $920 million. Outsized creatures, of course, were not new to the movies or to Hawaii when Spielberg's velociraptors were running wild on Kauai and Oahu. Dino deLaurentis and Paramount had filmed the Jessica Lange remake of King Kong on Kauai's Na Pali Coast in 1976. In 1997, Disney remade Mighty Joe Young against the backdrop of the Kaaawa Valley, demonstrating for the umpteenth time that Hawaii does a beautiful job of standing in for Equatorial Africa. And TriStar used rural areas of Honolulu County as Tahiti, Panama, and Jamaica for a new Godzilla. -

Very large apertures are not as necessary. The CCD Camera has a linear response to light, therefore photometric measurements are much easier than with photographic film; The CCD Camera produces images that are already based on a grid (pixels). -
Paramount Collection
Paramount Collection Airtight To control the air is to rule the world. Nuclear testing has fractured the Earth's crust, releasing poisonous gases into the atmosphere. Breathable air is now an expensive and rare commodity. A few cities have survived by constructing colossal air stacks which reach through the toxic layer to the remaining pocket of precious air above. The air is pumped into a huge underground labyrinth system, where a series of pipes to the surface feed the neighborhoods of the sealed city. It is the Air Force, known as the "tunnel hunters", that polices the system. Professor Randolph Escher has made a breakthrough in a top-secret project, the extraction of oxygen from salt water in quantity enough to return breathable air to the world. Escher is kidnapped by business tycoon Ed Conrad, who hopes to monopolize the secret process and make a fortune selling the air by subscription to the masses. Because Conrad Industries controls the air stacks, not subscribing to his "air service" would mean certain death. When Air Force Team Leader Flyer Lucci is murdered, his son Rat Lucci soon uncovers Conrad's involvement in his father's death and in Escher's kidnapping. Rat must go after Conrad, not only to avenge his father's murder, but to rescue Escher and his secret process as well. The loyalties of Rat's Air Force colleagues are questionable, but Rat has no choice. Alone, if necessary, he must fight for humanity's right to breathe. Title Airtight Genre Action Category TV Movie Format two hours Starring Grayson McCouch, Andrew Farlane, Tasma Walton Directed by Ian Barry Produced by Produced by Airtight Productions Proprietary Ltd. -

Wonderful! 143: Rare, Exclusive Gak Published July 29th, 2020 Listen on TheMcElroy.family [theme music plays] Rachel: I'm gonna get so sweaty in here. Griffin: Are you? Rachel: It is… hotototot. Griffin: Okay. Is this the show? Are we in it? Rachel: Hi, this is Rachel McElroy! Griffin: Hi, this is Griffin McElroy. Rachel: And this is Wonderful! Griffin: It‘s gettin‘ sweaaatyyy! Rachel: [laughs] Griffin: It‘s not—it doesn‘t feel that bad to me. Rachel: See, you're used to it. Griffin: Y'know what it was? Mm, I had my big fat gaming rig pumping out pixels and frames. Comin‘ at me hot and heavy. Master Chief was there. Just so fuckin‘—just poundin‘ out the bad guys, and it was getting hot and sweaty in here. So I apologize. Rachel: Griffin has a very sparse office that has 700 pieces of electronic equipment in it. Griffin: True. So then, one might actually argue it‘s not sparse at all. In fact, it is filled with electronic equipment. Yeah, that‘s true. I imagine if I get the PC running, I imagine if I get the 3D printer running, all at the same time, it‘s just gonna—it could be a sweat lodge. I could go on a real journey in here. But I don‘t think it‘s that bad, and we‘re only in here for a little bit, so let‘s… Rachel: And I will also say that a lot of these electronics help you make a better podcast, which… is a timely thing.
