Reserve prices will be as follows. Category Amount/month/shelter Old & New design bus shelter Category-A 35,000/- including tax Old & New design bus shelter Category-B 25,000/- including tax Old &New design bus shelter Category-C 10,000/- including tax Bus Stop Shelters at Badian road, Sui-e-Asal road, Hadyara Drain road and Haloki Raiwind 4,158/- including tax 2. Bidder/participant shall submit the required documents along with bid, as mentioned in documents checklist. If documents of any bidder are found incomplete/ambiguous shall be declared as non-responsive. 3. Rent period should not be less than 15 days and not more than expiry date of tender. For any period exceeding one month, the rent will be charged on pro-rata basis. 4. The successful bidder shall be required to make payments to LTC via Pay Order/Demand Draft/CDR in favor of Lahore Transport Company. 5. In case of 4 months and above rental period, advance rental payments of each month shall be made within first 10 working days of month and within 5 working days in case of last half month of rental period. 6. In case of 4 and above month rental period, bidder shall have to pay one (1) month advance rent along with bidding form, and Performance security equal to one month rent within (10 working days) of issuance of LOA in the shape of Pay Order/Demand Draft/CDR. In case of non-receipt of Performance Security within time, rental activity will be removed after expiry of existing rental payment and bid will be considered as cancelled. 7. In case of 15 days or less than 4 months rental period, bidder shall have to pay advance rent of first month along with Bidding Form. Whereas the next month rent shall be submitted 10 days before the commencement of next month. In case of failure to deposit rent, rental activity will be removed at expiry of existing rental month and bid will be considered as cancelled. 8. Rent period will start from the next day of bid opening date. 9. After completion of the rental period, the boards installed by the successful bidder shall be the property of Lahore Transport Company. 10. Any new creativity on all Bus Stop Shelters will be allowed with subject to approval of LTC. 11. Failure to deposit the quoted amount within due date for any booking period, Rental activity will be discontinued and skins will be removed by LTC at expiry of monthly rent after adjustment of performance security (if any) and bid will be considered as cancelled. 12. LTC reserves the right to change /amend category of bus shelter/road and revise reserve price of any category / particular shed at any stage with subject to approval from Competent Authority. 13. The successful bidder shall be responsible for the removal of the skin(s) etc. at expiry / completion of rented period. 14. The successful bidder can write its contact details or To-Let sign on the display during the rental period. 15. The successful bidder shall be responsible to repair of the damaged part of Bus Stop Shelter during installation or removal of activity made during the rental period at its own cost. Any addition or improvement in structure that will not affect the aesthetic look of Bus Stop Shelter, shall be property of LTC at expiry of rental period, in case of non-compliance, rental rights can be discontinued by LTC at any stage and remaining rent/performance security will be forfeited. 16. In case of backlit, bidder will be responsible to arrange power resources at its own cost and LTC will not be responsible to pay any extra cost/utility bill. 17. If the Bus Stop Shelter is dismantled/removed by any Government Department or due to any reason (road expansion, force majeure, natural disaster, theft etc.), the rental fee will be discontinued and rent will not be charged from the successful bidder to that effect. LTC will not be responsible for the damage of infrastructure installed for display due to dismantling / removal of shelter. However, successful bidder will have the right to replace the shelter with same category if available without any financial impact. Force Majeure, natural disaster will be applicable with subject to approval from Competent Authority. 18. In case of any force majeure, natural disaster, affecting the rental activity, the rental fee will be discontinued and rent will not be charged from the successful bidder to that effect with subject to approval of Competent Authority. 19. Religious and Political activity is strictly prohibited. 20. LTC will not be responsible for any theft/damage and replacement of display infrastructure etc. during the bid period. 21. LTC reserves the right to accept or reject all bids without assigning any reasons. 22. The height of board should not be more than 5 feet on old design Bus Stop Shelter and 3 feet on new design bus shelters or height permitted by LTC. 23. Availability of any Bus Stop Shelter may be checked from Marketing Department before submission of bids. 24. In case, two or more bids are received against the same bus stop shelter(s), the contract will be awarded to the highest bidder. In case of matching the quoted amount of bids for same shelter, rental rights will be awarded to the bidder whose total bid cost for whole period of subject shelter(s) will be highest. In case of matching total bid cost for whole period of the bus shelter(s), relevant bidder(s) will be asked to re-bid (not less than the previous bid amount) against subject shelter(s) on the spot and successful bidder shall submit subsequent security ( if any ) and advance rent after adjusting previous one respectively as per schedule mentioned in clause 5, 6 & 7 within two working days. 25. In case of any dispute / dis-agreement among the bidders the decision of tender committee shall be final. 26. In case of rental period equal to 4 and above months, rental activity can be discontinued by successful bidder with 15 days notice after clearance of all the dues upto expiry of notice, with subject to approval of Competent Authority and rent of last month of discontinued shelter (s) will be adjusted from already available Performance Security against discontinued bus shelter (s) upon written request of bidder. However, LTC will have the rights to cancel the rental activity at any stage. 27. In case of new tender / expiry of period of existing bidder within the tender duration, first right of refusal will be offered to existing bidder, if its total bid cost for the offered period of relevant bus shelter will be higher than other bidder(s). If existing bidder accept offer, he should be bound to submit new bidding form with highest bid price (at bid opening time & date) and successful bidder shall submit subsequent security ( if any ) and advance rent after adjusting previous one respectively as per schedule mentioned in clause 5, 6 & 7 within two working days. In case, the said right is not exercised by the existing bidder; relevant bus shelter(s) will be awarded to the highest bidder who will be bound to quote equal or more than the highest amount in very next bidding against relevant bus shelter (s) that gave him the opportunity to win the bid in previous bidding. If company quote the less amount in very next bidding against relevant bus shelter(s) the said right of refusal will not be offered. 28. On the expiry of the rental period, the performance security shall be returned to the successful bidder upon request letter after joint inspection of rented bus stop shelters or if bidder intend to adjust performance security into last monthly rent, bidder shall deposit twenty percent of monthly rent with request letter regarding adjustment of performance security into monthly rent, that will be returned to the successful bidder upon request letter after joint inspection of rented bus stop shelters.

The standard SWM activities will mainly focus on prompt collection, storage, transportation and disposal of animal waste during all three days of Eid. All the staff of LWMC will remain on board during Eid days to provide efficient SWM services to the citizens of Lahore. LWMC will establish Eid Camps in each Union Council of Lahore, not only to address the complaints of the citizens but to efficiently coordinate cleanliness activities in the respective UC’s as well. Moreover, awareness material and garbage bags for animal waste will also be available in these camps. A control room will be established in LWMC head office with special focus to coordinate collective operational activities during Eid days. In order to manage animal waste, LWMC is going to distribute 2 Million garbage bags in Lahore. The garbage bags will be made available free of cost in respective UC Camps / Zonal Office, Major Masajids / Eid Gahs. Similarly, for prompt collection of animal waste, LWMC will hire pickups 2 days before Eid for garbage bag distribution, awareness & waste collection. 1089 pickups will be hired on first day, 1025 on second and 543 on third day of Eid.

    FOREWORD Lahore is prone to flooding during monsoon season. Incessant rains always pose two pronged challenge i.e. from low degree to high degree flood depending upon the intensity of rains in catchment areas of River Ravi and accumulation of rain water in low lying areas of District Lahore. A befitting state of preparedness and with minimum reaction time in case of emergency requires a comprehensive planning. Through “Flood Plan 2020”, Lahore District aims at saving life and property, protecting vital installation and organizing timely information, evacuation, rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations. Lahore District is protected by Shahdara and Sharakpur bunds on the right side and by Mehmood Booti on the left. To save the population from the havocs of flood, a survey of the protection bunds has been got completed by the authorities of Irrigation Department in Coordination with Revenue Department. Necessary repair / maintenance work will be completed by 10th June, 2020 positively. All departments including LESCO, PTCL, SWM, Rescue 1122, WASA, Livestock, Health, PHA and Civil Defence have prepared comprehensive Contingency Plans which will help counter the havoc played by the floods. With the passage of time, after realising its contribution in changing the function and morphological pattern of cities, researchers are keenly interested to explore the relationship of its physical component among social, economic and environmental activities. Among all physical components, buildings and street networks are considered as main morphological elements of urban cities. By keeping in view, the above illustrated importance of urban environment: different component, this research study has been planned to carry out for a city of Lahore, Pakistan by focusing physical built environment, particularly urban street networks and its associated impacts on vehicular movement in addition to urban air quality. Street networks are being considered as facilitator of the human movement in a city based on its capability to join or to segregate different parts/areas of city and this feature of urban street networks is strongly dependent on degree of accessibility of street networks.
