COLONEL BRIAN L. SNYDER

Col Brian L. Snyder is the Chief, Cyberspace Transformation Division in the Directorate of Cyberspace and Information Dominance at Air Combat Command, the ’s Lead Command for Cyberspace Operations. He leads a diverse team of over 100 military, civilian, and contractors that provide strategic direction in organization, training, and equipping in the areas of enterprise information technology, electromagnetic spectrum, air and space operation center communications, homeland defense communications, expeditionary communications, cyber squadron-initiative, as well as oversight of defensive cyberspace operations and Department of Defense information network operation weapon systems. Additionally, Col Snyder chairs a number of executive-level steering groups and decision boards ensuring a unified effort in shaping the Air Force’s success in communications and cyberspace operations world-wide.

Colonel Snyder received his commission in 1997 through the Air Force ROTC program at Charleston Southern University. He is a senior cyberspace operations officer with over 23 years of experience serving at the Wing, , Major Command, Air Force Headquarters and the Joint Staff level.

Col Snyder was raised in the Air Force, as his father was a 30-year Chief Master Sergeant and his mother is also an Air Force veteran. Because of this, he claims to be from a number of different states and countries. Col Snyder is married to Holly Snyder and they have one son, Brady.
