The CBSE Sahodaya Inter- School Football meet was hosted by Peevees Public School. The two days battle had a stupendous start after the formal inauguration by Mr K Abdul Kareem, President, Football Association of Malappuram, who was accompanied by Mr. Abdul Nazar, Treasurer of Sahodaya complex, along with other dignitaries. Peevees Public School became champion in the under 17 Category. In a gripping match with Al Safa School, Master. MD Saddab of Peevees scored both the goals to lead the team to victory with a final score of 2-0. Sreenath [U-17] was awarded the highest goal scorer, Saddab [U-17] as the best player and Sherbaz [U-17] as the most promising player of the meet. Salahuddin [U-19] was adjudged as the best Player in the category.

From State to National Athletics Out of the twelve students who participated in the CBSE State Athletic Meet held at on 5thand 6th December, 2016, three students got qualified for the Nationals. Mohammed Saddab won Gold Medal in the 200m race and Bronze Medal in 400m. Stride | December 2016 Peevees Public School 2 ENGLISH FEST Exclusive Coaching for Board Exams

Students of Grade 11 and 12 – Science stream are now on a specialized coaching program to help them perform well in the upcom- ing board exams. Training by IPERT provides exclusive coaching services for board and entrance exams. Nuance 2016, the English Fest of Malappuram Sahodaya was conducted at Silver Mount Interna- tional School, on Saturday, 10th December, 2016. We secured the second position in category 3 and 4 in the competition which had 1,000 students from 60 schools.

On 23rd November, 2016, Captain Bishir Valapra, Director - Operations of HM Aviation Limited, piloted the senior grade students through the career oppor- tunities in Aviation. The highly interactive session instilled in the students a love for flying high in the sky.

Dr. Manoj Kumar M, Motivational trainer, Hypno- therapist and Career Coach, on 8th December, 2016 took the students of grades 10 and 12 on a com- pletely new experience unfolding the secret to a happy and satisfying career. He showed how one’s hidden talents could be discovered and mapped, to making career choices that would lead to find a job they would love doing.

The students of grades 10 and 12 were exposed to the world of automobiles at Indus Motors, Nallalam - Calicut on 3rd and 4th, December, 2016. They were also familiarised with automobile ser- vicing and business processes.

3 Peevees Public School December 2016 | Stride The 24th Annual Athletic Meet was held on 18th and 19th, November, 2016. The meet was declared open by Dr. Adalarasan, IFS, District Forest Officer, Malappuram, who received the guard of honour and hoisted the school flag. After the lap of honour, the Sports Captain - Boys, Master Shahbaz, lit the Olympic torch heralding the beginning of the event.

The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. AM Antony, Principal, Peevees Model School, who is also a Physical Education Expert. The Garnet House became the sports champions, followed by Emerald as Runner-up.

Athletic meet for KG students were conducted on 16th of November. There were many fun games and races which provided lots of entertainment for our tiny tots. It was really a visual treat to see our young buds display the spirit of sportsmanship.

Stride | December 2016 Peevees Public School 4 Emerald, Garnet, Sapphire and Topaz, the four vibrant houses of Peevees Public School competed in the true spirit for the inter-house cultural competition on 5thand 6th September, 2016. Events comprised of Recitation, Elocution, Extempore in English, Hindi, Malayalam and Arabic respectively, light Music, Mappilapattu, Mono Act, Folk Dance, Semi Classical Dance and so on. The Programmes were systematically organized by the CCA Co-ordinator, Ms. Padmapriya.C, with the wholehearted support of the CCA team. The winners were select- ed for the CBSE Inter-School meet.

CBSE Malappuram Sahodaya Inter-school Cultural Fest

The CBSE Malappuram Saho- daya Inter-school Cultural Fest was held from 19th to 23rd October, 2016. The School bagged 382 points and secured sixth position amongst 51 schools. Most winners emerged in off-stage items in the field of literary skills.

1st November, 2016 marked the 60th birthday of Kerala. A special event organized by the Malayalam department was graced by the presence of renowned Malayalam writer Mrs. BM Suhara who stressed the importance of learning Malayalam alongside other languages. An exhibition displaying the various artefacts of Kerala was also held.

Festival Of Lights Diwali was celebrated in a befitting manner with fun and fervor on 29th October, 2016. The evening saw the display of lights and talent show by students.
