The hotel has a long history associated with the formation and development of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City. At some point, the Rex Hotel plays a memorable role in the history of Ho Chi Minh City from the early 20th century to the Vietnam War and later. Rex Hotel was awarded the five-star hotel by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism on July 23, 2008, which is the best hotel in the city with 286 bedrooms, 2 restaurants, a bar, the East Banquet area and new banquet rooms and many convenient services for customers.
