Viewers were sure the pass was incomplete. But the ball never touched the ground! The receiver charged into the end zone. Touchdown!

The Packers is one of the oldest NFL teams. It formed in 1919. It joined the NFL in 1921. Powerful players soon filled the Packers’ roster. The team had championship seasons in 1929, 1930, and 1931. In 1935, receiver joined the Packers. With Hutson, the team won three championship titles.

Curly Lambeau was the team’s first captain and coach. The team’s stadium, Lambeau Field, is named after him. 7 The Lombardi Era

The Packers couldn’t win forever. From 1945 to 1959, the team didn’t win a championship. Then, in 1959, became coach. He helped quarterback become a star player. Together, they led the team to five championships. In 1967 and 1968, the team won the first two Super Bowls.
