BSU rallied from a 37-26 fourth quarter deficit to earn its 13th straight Augustana 0-0 2-2 victory over SMSU dating back to the 1997 season. BSU took advantage of an SMSU personal foul and Sioux Falls 0-0 2-2 converted a third-and-11 from its own 43-yard line with a 29-yard completion to set-up the game-winning Winona State 0-0 2-2 field goal. HOLDING ONTO THE BALL: Winning the turnover margin is a major key to winning at any level of football. SMSU is plus-5 this season after four weeks, including forcing four turnovers in both the week three win over Minot State and the loss in week four to Bemidji State . SMSU finished plus-7 in turnover margin last season, which was one of the best in school history. SMSU had a streak of not committing a turnover in four straight games and did not commit a turnover in five of 11 overall.
