Predstavuje soundtrack k multimediálnym predstaveniam týchto dvoch umelcov, ktoré sú založené na Caillaudových digitálnych obrazových sekvenciách. Na albume spolupracujú David Sylvian, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Peter Buck (REM), Brian Eno a Bill Rieflin. Sú čas ťou albume je DVD s obrazmi po číta čovej grafiky, ktoré sprevádzajú hudbu. Z neobvyklých nástrojov stojí za zmienku indické tabla, la baglama, nástroj príbuzný gréckemu buzuki a mexická gitara vihuela. Bonusové CD obsahuje výber songov z predchádzajúcich albumov. Prekrásna hudba, kombinovaná s charizmatickým Brownovým prednesom, s výpomocou Nikolasa Klaua, Marka Lerchsa, Waltera Curiasa a Drema Bruinsmu. Reininger - Flower Songs (Independent) Prvý mexický koncert dvoch zakladajúcich členov Tuxedomoon. Reininger and Brown sa preslávili svojím jedine čným štýlom, ktorý manévruje v rámci sú časnej hudby, rocku, jazzu a experimentu. Flower Songs boli nahrávané po čas vypredaného koncertu v La Sala Nezahualcóyotl, jednej z najprestížnejších koncertných hál v Latinskej Amerike v priestoroch Mexickej Národnej, kde inak koncertujú len klasické symfonické orchestre, pre toto vystúpenie bolo udelené špeciálne povolenie. Výber toho najlepšieho, čo sa urodilo po čas spolupráce týchto dvoch legendárnych muzikantov. I nová nahrávka je chutným plodom bohatej, sugestívnej spolupráce. Orchester vedený Oriom Odorim a Giampierom Bigazzim sa rozrástol o ďalších dvoch muzikantov. Daniel Sepe, neapolský skladate ľ a saxofonista, má štýl, ktorý má ve ľmi blízko k skupinovej tradícii a má tiež zna čné skúsenosti s dychovými nástrojmi. Auli Kokko je zas ako stvorená pre hudbu tradi čnú a zárove ň inovatívnu. Výsledkom je vulkán energie. Séria kombinuje top skladby zo slávnych nahrávok s trackmi a hudobnými kolaboráciami od jednotlivých mixmajstrov. Formát: CD Cena: 590 Sk Miriam Aida – My Kind Of World (ajabu!) Na albume nájdeme rôzne kúsky, od klasiky „What A Difference A Day Makes“, cez emocionálnu „Big City“ a nádherné balady až po vášnivú bossanovu.Tento nádherný album ukazuje Miriam ako spevá čku s výborným timingom, citom pre jazz a skuto čnou senzitivitou rozpoveda ť hudbou príbeh. Formát: CD Cena: 590 Sk Pavement – Wowee Zowee (Domino) Tretí album jednej z najvýznamnejších a najvplyvnejších indie skupín 90-tych rokov. Remastrovaná 2CD reedícia nazvaná „Sordid Sentinels“ obsahuje 64-stránkovú knižku a 50 skladieb. Wowee Zowee je ur čite jeden z vrcholov hudobnej kariéry Pavement, aj ke ď Malkmus s odstupom času tvrdí: „Platňa mohla by ť lepšia, ale faj čil som vtedy ve ľa trávy...“ Formát: 2CDbox Cena: 690 Sk Josef K – Entomology (Domino) Popri Orange Juice to boli práve Josef K, kto definoval zvuk mladého Škótska na za čiatku 80-tych rokov. Kolekcia troch k ľúčových albumov: dnes už nedostupného Ghost, You Guys Kill Me a Little Lost Soul je doplnená o bonus tracky a vychádza v deluxe balení. In the second half of the 1970s, Brian Eno, Larry Fast, Mickey Hart, Stomu Yamashta and many other musicians blurred the lines between rock and avantgarde. Brian Eno (34), ex-keyboardist for Roxy Music, changed the course of rock music at least three times. The experiment of fusing pop and electronics on Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy (sep 1974 - nov 1974) changed the very notion of what a "pop song" is. Eno took cheap melodies (the kind that are used at the music-hall, on television commercials, by nursery rhymes) and added a strong rhythmic base and counterpoint of synthesizer. The result was similar to the novelty numbers and the "bubblegum" music of the early 1960s, but it had the charisma of sheer post-modernist genius. Eno had invented meta-pop music: avantgarde music that employs elements of pop music. He continued the experiment on Another Green World (aug 1975 - sep 1975), but then changed its perspective on Before And After Science (? 1977 - dec 1977). Here Eno's catchy ditties acquired a sinister quality.

The results are irresistible blends that do not require the listener to understand the lyrics or comprehend the subtleties of the singing. This is clearly music for celebration and, of course, dancing. – Zein Al-Jundi and Jacob Edgar on the compilation Arabic Groove3 History bypassed these women long ago; theirs is the life of eternal duties, ancient rhythms and primal emotions. […] And so, when they sing, you feel they are singing truth. They don’t really have another reason to sing – they’ve had no show-biz careers and won’t get them now.     Discrete Precision Resistor R-2R Ladder DAC Date Added: 08/24/2021 by Jörg from Dortmund, Germany [Echo's End Reference, upgraded from Firewall 64x technology to Firewall 640x technology] When I installed the DAC during the week I hadn’t too much time to take a listen during the week. As I’m very familiar with the Sound of the Reference DAC over the years, I’m pretty sure to remember how it sounds, especially with extremely familiar discs. Some might say, that this is difficult without direct comparison of the DAC with the older incarnation of Firewall modules to the one that is equipped with the actual new Firewall modules, it is new, you want it to sound better, but that might only belong to your imagination. And that might be the case with other gear, tweaks, cabling, whatever, when the difference in sound is very small. You wish it to be, but you can’t be sure. Now I listened to my most familiar discs again, and the difference is not subtle, it is simply astounding! Never would i have thought of such a big improvement, coming with the replacement of the older Firewall modules. Everything is brought out better, acoustic instruments sound incredibly natural and real. Everything has more depth and contour. It simply sounds more energetic and precise. The reverberation of voices and decaying instruments lingers longer than before. Basses are more profound. And again, I’m hearing a cornucopia of details that were previously imperceptible. And with excellent sounding discs, my room is flooded with sound, I have the feeling I’m bathing in it.

    DAGSAVISEN NYE TAKTERKULTUR TIRSDAG 18. OKTOBER 2005 41 Sylvians fire årtier 70-TALLET Danner bandet Japan i 1974 sammen med broren Steve og skifter navn fra Norge David Batt til David Sylvian. Blir oppdaget av den senere så beryktede manageren Simon Napier-Bell (Wham m.m.). Gir ut to lite vellykkede glam-rock-pregede album, men tittelkuttet på tredjeplata «Quiet Life» (1979) peker mot noe mer sofistikert og særpreget. 80-TALLET Med platene «Gentlemen Take Polaroids» (1980) og «Tin Drum» (1981) utvikler Japan en egenartet asia- tiskinspirert sound, og får en hit med den minimalis- tiske balladen «Ghosts». Oppløses i 1982 etter mye intern krangel. Sylvian begynner å samarbeide med eksperimentelle musikere som Riuichi Sakamoto, Robert Fripp (King Crimson) og Holger Czukay (Can). Gir ut sitt første soloalbum «Brilliant Trees» (1984), følger opp med doble «Gone To Earth» (1986) og «Secrets Of The Beehive» (1987), som alle har status som kultklassikere. Jobber også innen teater, foto- kunst og dans. 90-TALLET Japan gjenforenes under navnet Rain Tree Crow, lager et halvbra album og oppløses igjen. Sylvian flytter til USA og gifter seg med Prince-protesje- en Ingrid Chavez. Lager en del instrumental ambient- musikk, gjenopptar sam- arbeidet med Robert Fripp på duoalbumene «The First Day» (1993) og FOTO: KEVIN WESTERBERG/DOT «Redemption» (1994), som ikke hører til hans sterkeste.
