Since arriving Shannon has been promoted to Full Lieutenant and is the Editor of this months News letter. The recruiting challenge is on to the 30th of September. A Playmates Type 2 Phaser is the prize. We are also looking for a host for trivia night or we can rotate through. T'Vel has set up a great discord system and we need to start enjoying together as a team. The first Club fundraising walk is on the 26th of this month. Everyone that participates, post or send pics. USS Nomad Discord To all members who have not had a chance to explore or been given a grand tour of the USS Nomad Discord Server, here is your chance. We are going to have a quick walk through of the different rooms and their purposes. Our tour will begin in the mess-hall. This is a the commons area of the ship where everyone is welcome to come in and share casual chats, jokes, and memes. The holodecks are our next destinations. This is the place to show up for fun. Trivia and organized entertainment will be held in these two rooms. Next up is the Science Lab. Is the place to share articles and information about, you guessed it, science. But a lab is more than just an encyclopedia; it’s where you ask questions and explore new possibilities. Want to actually chat with your crewmates without the making sleep-deprived spelling errors? Come check out the General room. This is the place to hang out and chat with your actual voice. While we are in the voice channels, we mustn’t overlook the conference room for official ship’s business meetings. If you could have an exotic/fictional animal as a pet, what would it be? Bantha. Do you have a life motto? You do you. If you could live anywhere in the universe (including fictional universes), where would you be? Endor or Hoth. perhaps a Borg Cube. very efficient. Lol. What fictional character do you relate to the most? I find Klingons to be most intriguing. not through the depiction of the violent nature that is shown but through the importance of Honor. so I would have to say Worf. What accomplishment are you most proud of? My time in wrestling. What led you to STARFLEET? With some of my answers I'm sure it's clear the love I have for Star Wars. with that said; I've always enjoyed Star Trek and how revolutionary and diverse that world is. all you have to do is look at the bridge crew from the original series and know that it was light years ahead of its time.
