Now picture your name in flashing lights outside some of the biggest and most well-known theatres in the world as you sell out comedy shows night after night. This is the reality of Natasha’s life and how humble beginnings can lead to an extraordinary endings. (more) 1 The Life and Times of Natasha Leggero From an early age she was never really into comedy. She was a child actor, not a child star, but a thespian. Leggero loved to act and was in many of her high school plays in Rockford, Illinois. As quickly as she graduated she moved even quicker to New York City to go to Hunter College and get her degree in theatre criticism. She began reviewing plays after she graduated but that was not cutting it for her so she moved to Los Angeles. In an interview with Comedy Central, Leggero exclaimed, “I just got onstage one night and I just was really talking about what I thought about Los Angeles. I didn’t really think people would laugh or I didn’t even know what a comedian really was.

Michelle Lujan Grisham Governor Alicia J. Keyes Cabinet Secretary Amber Dodson Director FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CONTACT: Jennifer Esquivel March 12, 2021 505-469-2915 [email protected] The New Mexico Film Office Announces 7 Productions Filmed In New Mexico SANTA FE, NM – The New Mexico Film Office announces seven productions filmed in New Mexico. "We are thrilled to announce these seven projects that have recently filmed or are set to soon begin filming in New Mexico. It is great to see projects of all types and sizes taking advantage of the New Mexico film tax incentive program and we are here to equally support independent and local New Mexico filmmakers," Amber Dodson, New Mexico Film Office Director, said. Twalette: Twalette is an independent silent short comedy, being shot in 4K on the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera. Twalette is produced by Terrace Studios, LLC and will begin filming in Albuquerque in April of 2021. The film is directed by James Liakos ( A Day In the Park, The Recovery) and produced by Tracy Jordan (screenwriter Hot Yoga, Pierogi) "New Mexico offers so much more than the vast desert landscapes it is known for. Incentives, locations, skills and talents of the local crew and actors, costs, and a welcoming business climate all add up to make New Mexico an ideal place for filmmaking,” Jordan said. The production will employ 8 New Mexico crew members, 6 New Mexico principal actors, and 2 New Mexico extras. Twalette, starring Ashley Ward (Monsters of God, Unbound 3.0) and Zain Walker (Voices Unheard), is the story of two plain and shy individuals who undergo accidental transformations to look like supermodels.

SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM, INC. Nancy A. Ory Paul A. Cicelski Laura M. Berman Lerman Senter PLLC 2001 L Street NW, Suite 400 Washington, DC 20036 Tel. (202) 429-8970 April 19, 2017 Their Attorneys -ii- SUMMARY In this Petition, WSBS Licensing, Inc. and its parent company Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (“SBS”) seek modification of the television market of WSBS-TV, Key West, Florida (the “Station”), to reinstate 41 communities (the “Communities”) located in the Miami- Ft. Lauderdale Designated Market Area (the “Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA” or the “DMA”) that were previously deleted from the Station’s television market by virtue of a series of market modification decisions released in 1996 and 1997. SBS seeks recognition that the Communities located in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties form an integral part of WSBS-TV’s natural market. The elimination of the Communities prior to SBS’s ownership of the Station cannot diminish WSBS-TV’s longstanding service to the Communities, to which WSBS-TV provides significant locally-produced news and public affairs programming targeted to residents of the Communities, and where the Station has developed many substantial advertising relationships with local businesses throughout the Communities within the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA. Cable operators have obviously long recognized that a clear nexus exists between the Communities and WSBS-TV’s programming because they have been voluntarily carrying WSBS-TV continuously for at least a decade and continue to carry the Station today.

  • HBO: Brand Management and Subscriber Aggregation: 1972-2007
1 HBO: Brand Management and Subscriber Aggregation: 1972-2007 Submitted by Gareth Andrew James to the University of Exeter as a thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in English, January 2011. This thesis is available for Library use on the understanding that it is copyright material and that no quotation from the thesis may be published without proper acknowledgement. I certify that all material in this thesis which is not my own work has been identified and that no material has previously been submitted and approved for the award of a degree by this or any other University. ........................................ 2 Abstract The thesis offers a revised institutional history of US cable network Home Box Office that expands on its under-examined identity as a monthly subscriber service from 1972 to 1994. This is used to better explain extensive discussions of HBO‟s rebranding from 1995 to 2007 around high-quality original content and experimentation with new media platforms. The first half of the thesis particularly expands on HBO‟s origins and early identity as part of publisher Time Inc. from 1972 to 1988, before examining how this affected the network‟s programming strategies as part of global conglomerate Time Warner from 1989 to 1994. Within this, evidence of ongoing processes for aggregating subscribers, or packaging multiple entertainment attractions around stable production cycles, are identified as defining HBO‟s promotion of general monthly value over rivals. Arguing that these specific exhibition and production strategies are glossed over in existing HBO scholarship as a result of an over-valuing of post-1995 examples of „quality‟ television, their ongoing importance to the network‟s contemporary management of its brand across media platforms is mapped over distinctions from rivals to 2007.
