Through six weeks, Shepley ranks fifth in the league with a 39.5 average which puts him on pace for one of the top punting average seasons in school history and just shy of former All-NSIC punter Sam Maedke’s school record pace set last year (41.3) which led the conference in 2017.

Shepley is also a wide receiver, seeing action in four games with two catches as a true freshman in 2017 and continuing to get looks on offense this year in the dual role.

KEYON WALTERS FACTORS INTO RETURN GAME Sophomore Keyon Walters has quietly put together a strong start to the 2018 season and his 8.8 punt return aver- age is ranked fifth in the Northern Sun.

He’s also emerged as a consistent threat in the pass game, third on the team with 14 catches going for 113 yards. He is sixth on the team in all-purpose yards with 205.
