DRAFT.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LAW OP PROCEDURE (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 1934.

BE IT ENACTED by the High Commissioner for Palestine, with the advice of the Advisory Council thereof :—

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Law of Procedure Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1938, and shall be read as one with the Law of Procedure (Amendment) Ordinance, 1934, hereinafter No. 21 of 1934. referred to as the principal Ordinance.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance shall be amended by Amendment of the insertion of the words "or a Crown Counsel" immediately section 2 of the principal after the words "Solicitor General" appearing in paragraph (b) Ordinance. thereof .

OBJECTS AND REASONS.

This Ordinance amends the definition of "the Attorney Gen• eral's representative" in section 2 of the Law of Procedure (Amendment) Ordinance, 1934, so as to include a Crown Counsel, No• 21 of 1934• in consequence of the recent appointment of two Crown Counsel in the Legal Department.
