Please join Jazz 91.9 WCLK in congratulating General Manager, Wendy Williams, who has been selected as one of Atlanta Tribune’s 2015 Hall of Fame inductees. She will be honored on December 10, 2015, during the publication's annual celebration at the 755 Club at Turner Field.

Williams’ tenure spans 21 years at Jazz 91.9 WCLK. She is credited with overseeing the 2012 signal expansion of the station and the format enhancement and design that has led to doubling the station’s audience.

Williams is a founding member and Chair of the African American Public Radio Consortium, Inc., a national organization that distributes diverse programming to a network of more than 80 stations across the U.S. She also has served on the boards of the National Development Exchange, now Greater Public Inc., a public media organization dedicated to nonprofit fundraising executives and Eastern Region Public Media, (ERPM), a national association of public radio stations located in the mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. ERPM that is dedicated to advancing public media by increasing the effectiveness, cooperation and significance of its members in their communities. Williams is a Clark Atlanta University (CAU) Alumnus and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Kudos, Wendy!
