    The Story Coming In The Medicine Hat Tigers host the Calgary Hitmen tonight for the third meeting in the course of a week between these two hockey clubs. The Tigers defeated the Hitmen 3-1 Saturday in Medicine Hat before falling 4-2 on Wednesday in Calgary. The Orange and Black are 23-11-1-1 and they are led by their Captain James Hamblin with 55 points (19G, 36A) and veteran forward Brett Kemp with 43 points (16G, 27A). After tonight’s game, the Tabbies will host the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday before departing early next week to Manitoba to take on the Brandon Wheat Kings Tuesday and the Winnipeg ICE on Wednesday. Tigers vs. Hitmen Tonight’s game between the Tigers and the Hitmen will be their third meeting in seven days and their fifth battle of the season. The Hitmen won all three games played at the Saddledome and the Tabbies have won the lone game played at the Canalta Centre. After tonight, Medicine Hat and Calgary will not meet again until March 6th at the Canalta Centre. The Tigers are 11-9-2-0 against the Hitmen over the past five years and 7-2-1-0 when playing at home. A trio of Tigers have four points in the four games played in the series so far – Ryan Chyzowksi (3G, 1A), James Hamblin (1G, 3A) and Cole Sillinger (1G, 3A).     Stew MacDonald - Bio As Executive Vice President, Revenue for Oilers Entertainment Group, Stew MacDonald is responsible for providing leadership to OEG's revenue operations. As one of the organization's senior executives, he leads a team responsible for ticketing, premium seating, corporate partnerships and customer relationships for the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers and Rogers Place. He also oversees business operations for the Edmonton Oil Kings of the WHL and Bakersfield Condors of the AHL. Stew began his professional career in 1981 with the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League, where he served as the club's Director of Marketing and Publicity. In 1987, he joined the Oilers where he played a leading role as the organization's Director of Marketing for over a decade. In 1998, he was named Chief Operating Officer of the American Hockey League's Saint John Flames and guided the organization for five seasons. In 2003, Stew rejoined the Oilers organization on a temporary basis as a member of the project team for the NHL’s first-ever outdoor game, and then on a permanent basis a few months later when he was appointed President of the Edmonton Road Runners Hockey Club. In 2005, he was named the Oilers Vice President of Marketing, and in 2006 he assumed his current duties. A native of Ottawa, Stew holds a diploma in Sports Administration from Durham College. He is based in Edmonton at Oilers Entertainment Group headquarters. Among the highlights of Stew’s career are three Stanley Cup Championships (1987, 1988, 1990), a Calder Cup Championship (2001) and a Memorial Cup Championship (2014).

    The Story Coming In The Medicine Hat Tigers finished the first half of the season with a 17-15-1-2 record. After a slow start to the season, the Orange and Black finished strong posting a 7-3-0-0 record in their last 10 games before the Christmas break. The Tigers continue their scoring by committee approach with every skater on the team lighting the lamp to score the team’s 110 goals. Leading the way for the Tabbies are veteran forwards James Hamblin with 38 points (17G, 21A) and Ryan Jevne with 34 points (16G, 18A). Tigers vs. ICE The Tigers and the ICE have met twice so far this season. The ICE took the first game 5-0 while the Tigers won the second game 4-3 in a shootout. Ryan Jevne scored the game-winning goal in the shootout and goaltender Jordan Hollett stopped 32 of 35 shots. Over the past five seasons, Medicine Hat has a 19-3-1-0 record against Kootenay and they will be looking to improve that record tonight. View from Kootenay The Kootenay ICE finished the first half of the season with an 8-25-5-1 record and they were 1-7-2-0 in their last 10 games before the holiday break.
