WASHINGTON AIR NATIONAL GUARD OPENING CLOSING POSITION # DATE: DATE: 194th Wing 31 Jul 2020 14 AUG 2020 075254134 Camp Murray, WA POSITION TITLE, GRADE, AFSC: Wing Plans and Programs Officer, O-5, 61G (pending MCR approval) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION: 1. Must have a minimum score of 75 on most recent AF Physical Fitness Assessment. 2. Open to any AFSC; grades O-4 through O-5. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1. Experience in Group or Wing-level planning highly desired. 2. Expertise in knowledge management tools (such as Microsoft software) highly desired. 3. Domestic Operations (DOMOPs) coordination experience desired. 4. Operational unit experience (COS, ASOS, etc.) desired. 5. Experience in exercise planning, control, or evaluation beneficial. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must possess a current SECRET (or higher) security clearance. 2. Meet a Selection Board and receive the board’s recommendation. Board selection will be hiring action only, not a promotion action. AREA OF CONSIDERATION: All members of the Washington Air National Guard. SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This position is located within the 194th Wing’s (194 WG) Plans and Programs (XP) office, which is part of the 194 WG Staff team. If you want to learn, and enjoy high intensity work in diverse areas, this position is for you. The XP team serves as a coordination hub for Wing-level plans, programs, and special projects. The primary purpose of this position is to develop collaborative solutions with applicable stakeholders. Specific requirements include annual planning, fulfillment of DOMOPs requirements, and ongoing management of wing-level contingency plans. Relational skills and availability between drills will be the key to success in this role, facilitating ongoing engagement with Group representatives, Wing Inspector General, WA ANG Headquarters, and National Guard Bureau.
