Although only 25 years old and racing but five years, has accomplished a lot in such a short period of time. He began his racing career in his home territory of Australia in 1970 behind the wheel of a

Brabham. BT-18. Over the next few years, he drove and Lolas.

Now, he's piloting the Talon MR-1A from McCormack Racing Enterprises in the Series.

Despite an accident in 1973 which put him in the hospital for three months, Warwick went on to establish the lap record for the Australian Grand

Prix in 1974 where he was leading until a blown engine took him out 15 miles from the finish. In 1975 he walked away with the Australian /New Zealand

Racing Career Highlights: 1970 First race, Formula 3 in Australia, Brabham BT-18 1971 McLaren M4A, Formula 2, Australia 1972 McLaren M10B, Formula 5000 (); Finished 3rd in Gold Star Series (Australian Racing Drivers Championship) 1973 Lola T-300, Formula 5000 (Tasman Series), raced for the first time outside of Australia by going to New Zealand, had a 2nd and a 3rd finish in that series, established outright lap record at Wigram, Christ Church, New Zealand. At Surfer's Paradise, he crashed and spent three months in the hospital. 1974 Drove a Lola T-332 in the Tasman Series, won the last race and finished 3rd overall in the series. Finished 2nd overall in the Gold Star Series (Australian Racing Drivers Champion- ship). Came to the U.S. for the last three races of Formula 5000 Series. At Ontario, finished 2nd in heat and llth in final; Laguna Seca, finished 4th in heat and 5th in final; Riverside, 2nd in heat and 3rd in final. Drove and led until 15 miles from finish when engine blew, established outright track lap record. 1975 Mansfield, New Zealand, won warm-up race prior to Tasman. Won Tasman Championship, sat on pole twice and led six out of eight races. Presently driving Talon MR-1A in Formula 5000 Series --at Pocono, finished 2nd in heat, running in 5th when black flagged for oil leak, finished 15th; at Mosport, finished 2nd in heat, 3rd in final; Watkins Glen, crashed one car during practice, 4th in heat, 4th in final; Road America, 3rd in heat, 9th in final; Mid-Ohio, 4th in heat, 6th in final; Long Beach, 6th in heat, 6th in final; Laguna Seca, 4th in heat, 9th in final.
