Canottaggio, Memorial D'aloja 2019 Canottaggio, Memorial d’Aloja 2019: l’Italia si impone nei Pesi Leggeri e nella categoria Junior, Romania padrona tra i Senior Seconda giornata di gare a Terni per il 33° Memorial Paolo d’Aloja di canottaggio. Sulle acque del Lago di Piediluco questa mattina si è svolto il primo blocco di finali di questo evento interazionale, con gli italiani che hanno ben figurato nel confronto con gli equipaggi stranieri. Andiamo quindi a scoprire tutti i risultati della sessione mattutina. Partiamo dai Pesi Leggeri, dove gli equipaggi azzurri hanno ottenuto i risultati migliori. Nel singolo maschile trionfo di Martino Goretti (Fiamme Oro), che batte gli svizzeri Julian Mueller e Matthias Fernandez. Salgono sul primo gradino del podio nel doppio anche Stefano Oppo (Carabinieri) e Pietro Willy Ruta (Fiamme Oro), che superano per pochissimo il Belgio, mentre al terzo posto si piazza l’Irlanda. Podio tutto italiano nel due senza con l’equipaggio societario del CC Saturnia di Alberto Natali e Pierluigi De Rogatis che si mette alle spalle gli azzurri Luca Annibale e Raffaele Serio il SC Varese/SC Armida di Matteo Sessa e Filippo Fornera. Nel singolo femminile vince la sudafricana Ursula Grobler, davanti a Paola Piazzolla (Fiamme Rosse) e alla russa Anastasia Lebedeva, mentre nel doppio successo delle romene Ionela Cozmiuc e Gianina Beleaga, che precedono il Sud Africa, terze Stefania Buttignon (SC Timavo) e Arianna Noseda (SC Lario). Passiamo quindi alle gare Senior, dove nel singolo maschile tripletta svizzera con Roman Roeoesli che precede i connazionali Barnaba Delarze e Nico Stahberg, quinto Simone Martini (SC Padova). Al femminile si impone l’irlandese Sanita Puspure, campionessa iridata in carica, che batte l’ucraina Diana Dymchenko e la serba Jovana Arsic. Le successive cinque finali sono state tutte vinte dalla Romania, a partire dal quattro senza femminile con il podio monopolizzato, mentre gli equipaggi azzurri si piazzano al quarto e quinto posto. Nel due senza maschile vittoria dei vicecampioni iridati Marius Cozmiuc e Ciprian Tudosa, davanti a Sud Africa e Serbia, mentre al quarto posto si piazzano Giovanni Abagnale (Marina Militare) e Giuseppe Vicino (Fiamme Gialle). Nel doppio femminile successo di Acunta Bodnar e Simona Radis, che battono Grecia e Lituania, mentre al maschile vincono Ioan Prundeanu e Florin Enache, davanti a Olanda e Irlanda. Nel quattro senza maschile lottano fino all’ultimo gli azzurri Cesare Gabbia (Marina Militare), Bruno Rosetti (CC Aniene), Matteo Castaldo e Marco Di Costanzo (Fiamme Oro), che vengono però beffati nel finale dai romeni Mihaita Tiganescu, Cosmin Pascari, Stefan Beariu e Ciprian Huc e si devono quindi accontentare del secondo posto, mentre al terzo si piazza il Sud Africa. Seconda posizione per l’Italia anche nel quadruplo dove l’equipaggio iridato formato da Filippo Mondelli, Andrea Panizza, Luca Rambaldi e Giacomo Gentili (Fiamme Gialle) si deve arrendere alla superiorità di quello olandese con Dirk Uittenbogaard, Tone Wieten, Abe Wiersma e Koen Metsemakers, mentre il terzo posto è dell’Ucraina. La Romania torna poi a dettare leggere nelle ultime due finali con la doppietta nel due senza femminile, dove Ioana Vrinceanu e Denisa Tilvescu vincono davanti alle connazionali Adriana Ailincai e Maria Tivodariu e alle azzurre Alessandra Patelli (SC Padova) e Sara Bertolasi (SC Milano). Infine anche nell’otto maschile la Romania si prende i primi due gradini del podio, mentre sul terzo sale l’Italia con l’equipaggio formato da Mario Paonessa (Fiamme Gialle) Emanuele Liuzzi (Fiamme Oro), Luca Parlato (Marina Militare), Paolo Perino, Simone Venier (Fiamme Gialle), Davide Mumolo (Fiamme Oro), Leonardo Pietra Caprina (Fiamme Gialle), Vincenzo Abbagnale (Marina Militare) ed Enrico D’Aniello (Fiamme Oro) al timone. L’Italia domina invece nella categoria Junior. Partiamo dal femminile, dove nel singolo arriva la doppietta con Alice Ramella (Santo Stefano), che precede Alice Codato (Gavirate) e la portoghese Beatriz Tavarez. Nel due senza successo di Arianna Pasini e Nadine Agyemang-Heard (Moltrasio) che battono Grecia e SC Lario. Nel doppio si impongono Anna Benazzo e Giulia Bosio (SC Cerea/Esperia Torino), davanti a Lituania e Grecia. Podio tutto italiano nel due senza maschile con la vittoria di Alessandro Bonamoneta e Achille Benazzo (SS Murcarolo/SC Cerea), che battono le imbarcazioni societarie di Moto Guzzi/Idroscalo Milano e Tevere Remo/CC Napoli. Nel doppio Diego Paroli e Niccolò Carucci (Gavirate) si mettono alle spalle l’equipaggio delle Fiamme Gialle/Speranza Pra’ e quello lituano. Infine nel singolo successo dell’azzurro Gennaro Alberto Di Mauro (CC Napoli), che batte il belga Tristan Vandenbussche e il portoghese Andrè Pinto. WSTĘP Tegoroczne Mistrzostwa Świata Seniorów odbyły się pomiędzy 30 sierpnia a 6 września na jeziorze Aiguebelette położonym we francuskich Alpach przy autostradzie łączącej Genewę z Lyonem. Mistrzostwa były zarazem główną kwalifikacją do Igrzysk Olimpijskich 2016 roku w Rio de Janeiro. Były to szóste z kolei kwalifikacje od kiedy w 1995 roku podczas Mistrzostw Świata Seniorów w Tampere rozegrano je po raz pierwszy. Jeremie Azou is the top male and Inge Janssen the top female in a list that includes new rowers who have taken over in the sport following a number of post- Olympic retirements. The indoor rowing appeal and British Rowing Rowers have long embraced – or rather endured – a close relationship to this most intense of exercise machines. But indoor rowing machines are no longer just for rowers cross training. New research from British Rowing reveals that on average there are three indoor rowing machines at every gym across Great Britain and concrete steps are being taken to increase that number. How South Africa is making their boats go faster The simple aim of a rowing coaching is to make boats go faster and South Africa’s national squad programme is certainly picking up speed. At the Olympic level, the first South African boat to compete was the men’s eight in Barcelona in 1992. Twelve years later in Athens, South Africa won its first medal, bronze in the men’s pair. London 2012 saw South Africa win its first gold, in the men’s lightweight four. This success was built on in Rio, with five boats qualifying, all making finals and the men’s pair winning silver. World Rowing’s 2017 Coaches Conference on 7-8 December in London, focused on the theme of using technology and data to make boats go faster.

Siamo quasi ai mille metri quando il quattro di coppia azzurro, che viaggiava in seconda posizione in un’emozionante testa a testa con la Gran Bretagna, perde improvvisamente terreno finendo inaspettatamente nelle retrovie. Ma riavvolgiamo il nastro. La partenza è bellissima per la barca dell’atleta mandellese, mentre c’è subito un brivido per l’Olanda, favorita della vigilia, che dopo poche palate è vittima di un’imbardata che ne rallenta la corsa.
