NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 2004-- Revlon announced today that legendary actress Susan Sarandon has joined the Company's family of extraordinary women. Ms. Sarandon, who's distinguished acting career has spanned more than three decades and garnered her five Academy Award nominations, including a Best Actress win for the 1995 film Dead Man Walking, will first appear in a national advertising campaign for the Revlon brand in early 2005.

Ms. Sarandon joins a group of beautiful women who currently represent Revlon including fellow Academy Award winner Halle Berry, Academy Award nominee and actresses Eva Mendes and Kate Bosworth. Sarandon most recently starred in the independent hit Igby Goes Down, for which she was honored with a Golden Globe nomination. She is currently filming a contemporary adaptation of the 1966 film Alfie, starring Jude Law and revisiting her vocal prowess in the musical, Romance and Cigarettes opposite Kate Winslet, and James Gandolfini. Up next in theaters this fall will be the long-anticipated remake of the 1997 Japanese film Shall We Dance? starring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez.

A native of New York City, Susan began modeling and acting after graduating from Catholic University in Washington D.C. Rising Young Hollywood Star Kate Bosworth Joins Revlon As Spokesperson

Revlon announced today that rising young Hollywood actress Kate Bosworth has joined the Company's roster of beautiful and talented women. Ms. Bosworth, who recently wrapped movies with two of Hollywood's most revered male stars - Bee Season starring Richard Gere and Beyond the Sea opposite Kevin Spacey, will first appear in a national print and television advertising campaign for the Revlon brand in early 2005.

Ms. Bosworth joins the extraordinary group of accomplished women who currently represent Revlon. The Company's red carpet roster of talent includes Academy Award winning actresses Halle Berry and Susan Sarandon, four-time Academy Award nominee Julianne Moore and actress, Eva Mendes. Ms. Bosworth deferred admission to Princeton to work in acclaimed films , Wonderland and most recently Win a Date with Tad Hamilton, a romantic comedy with and Josh Duhamel.

Ms. Bosworth spent her youth traveling, and by age 14 had lived in , and Massachusetts. It was at that age that the young equestrian learned of a casting call for a movie about horses that Robert Redford was directing in 1998, entitled The Horse Whisperer. She won the role of the female lead's best friend and the chance to work with screen legend Redford. After a short break, she delved into several roles, including the feature films The Newcomers and starring Denzel Washington in 2000. In 2002 she played a role in Roger Avery's drama Rules of Attraction based on the novel by Brett Easton Ellis.

Ms. Bosworth is a big supporter of animal rights organizations (among other charities), and is actively involved with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the world's largest no-kill animal shelter. She recently returned from Morocco with a dog that she rescued during her visit.
