The lowest-grade assemblage, located on the southern border of the basin, contains calcite + quartz + hematite + kaolinite + mixed-layer illite-smectite (R = 1, 65À85% illite layers) + discrete illite (IC = 0.5À0.65D82y). Systematic increases in the illite and chlorite crystallinities suggest increasing metamorphic grade from the northwest part of the basin to the southeast. This trend does not follow the pattern previously described for the overlying late Berriasian–early Aptian sediments (Urbio´n and Enciso Groups), which exhibit a higher metamorphic grade. This may result from local variations in sedimentary facies, as well as the circulation of hot migratory fluids. Tertiary compression occurring long after the main metamorphic event is considered to be responsible for the enhanced illite and chlorite crystallinities measured in the SE extreme of the basin. -

[email protected]; [email protected] Abstract—Up to now, the ichnological vertebrate record from the Barremian Mirambel Formation (NE Spain) has remained completely unknown despite the fact that osteological findings have been reported in recent years. Here we provide an overview of 11 new dinosaur tracksites found during a fieldwork campaign in the year 2011. The majority of these tracksites (seven) preserve small- to medium-sized tridactyl tracks here assigned to indeterminate theropods. Only one footprint presents enough characters to classify it as Megalosauripus isp. Ornithopod tracks identified asCaririchnium isp. and Iguanodontipodidae indet. -

Respecto a la información contenida en los anexos se señala lo siguiente: 1) De conformidad con el artículo 33.3 de la Ley 33/2003, de 3 de noviembre, del Patrimonio de las Administraciones Públicas, las unidades competentes en materia patrimonial de los departamentos ministeriales y organismos públicos vinculados a la Administración General del Estado, o dependientes de ella, gestionan el inventario de los bienes y derechos del Patrimonio del Estado de dominio público sometidos a una legislación especial cuya administración y gestión tengan encomendadas y el de las infraestructuras de titularidad estatal sobre las que ostenten competencias de administración y gestión. Read Full License Page 1/23 Abstract Theropod behaviour and biodynamics are intriguing questions that paleontology has been trying to resolve for a long time. The lack of extant groups with similar bipedalism has made it hard to answer some of the questions on the matter, yet theoretical biomechanical models have shed some light on the question of how fast theropods could run and what kind of movement they showed. The study of dinosaur tracks can help answer some of these questions due to the very nature of tracks as a product of the interaction of these animals with the environment. Two trackways belonging to fast-running theropods from the Lower Cretaceous Enciso Group of Igea (La Rioja) are presented here and compared with other fast-running theropod trackways published to date. -

UNA REVISIÓNBIBLIOGRÁFICA Y CUANTITATIVA* José Ramón Mor eno Fer nández ** RESUMEN:La intención de este artículo es realizar una crítica de la bibliografía existente y aportar algunos datos esenciales para la cuantificación del peso económico de la trashumancia ovina a mediados del siglo XVIII. A continuación se comparan los resulta- dos con las cifras que proporciona el primer censo ganadero de la época liberal, el de 1865. Finalmente se comentan las dimensiones de la crisis y las dificultades de adaptación de un sistema ganadero incompatible con el ideario agrícola liberal. ABSTRACT:The intention of this article is to criticize the existing historiography and to give some data to quantify the economic importance of the trashumance in the middle of the XVIIIth century. Later the results are contrasted with the figures from the first lives- tock census in the liberal era, that of 1865.Finally there is a study of the scale of the crisis and the difficulties of adaptation of an exten- sive livestock-farming incompatible with the liberal agricultural agenda.
