Bishop of the Diocese of Dallas on 3 February 9, 2017. He had previously been serving as of the Diocese of Juneau, Alaska since 2009. The Catholic Foundation thanks Jim Burke, Executive Vice President and COO of Vistra Energy (parent company of TXU Energy and Luminant), who just completed six dedicated years of service to our Board of Trustees. Jim is an active member of Christ the King Parish, serving as president of the Parish Finance Council. He is a graduate of Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA in finance and is a licensed certified public accountant and a chartered financial analyst. He served on The Catholic Foundation 2011-2013 Investment committee, 2011-2017 Distribution committee, 2014 Development Chair and Executive committee, 2015 Governance committee, 2016 Investment and Executive committee and served as Secretary for the Foundation.
