Date: 16th November 2013, 7:45pm, Questors Theatre FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE THE OOD CAST PRESENT: DOCTOR WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? & THE COMPLETE WORKS OF GALLIFREY (ABRIDGED) Cult podcast favourites The Ood Cast present their hit show. Fresh from opening the Manchester Science Festival they will perform every episode of the new series of from 2005 to the present in just one hour. Expect songs, poems, sketches, the odd monster and even odder sound effects. Think The Reduced Shakespeare Company meets The Fitzrovia Radio Hour … in SPACE. With jelly babies. Did we mention it also travels in time? And if that wasn't enough, the first half will be an ENTIRELY IMPROVISED episode of classic Doctor Who starring some of the best improvisors in the country including performers from The Showstoppers, School of Night, Project 2, The RH Experience, Austentacious, Horse Aquarium… and Commander Strax himself, Dan Starkey. Chris Mead, co-host of The Ood Cast says “We are so excited to have Dan performing with us for this special show. He is such a natural comedian and his character is an absolute audience favourite. It’s going to be quite an evening for any fan of the series, an improvised classic episode and then every story from the new series at breakneck speed, in rhyme, standing on our heads and dressed as a TARDIS.” If you would like further information please contact The Ood Cast - [email protected] or 07595826647.
