Camping: General Camping Information:  Camping Permits are sold online only – PURCHASE NOW!  There are four locations available: Glen Cove, Ski Area, Halfway Picnic Ground, and 9 Mile (9 Mile is tent camping only) Yokohama Course Map.  Each camper must also purchase a Race Day ticket in order to attend the event.  One camping permit needed per car and one camping permit needed per motorcycle.  The Gateway opens to campers at 11:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26th. You must be through the Gateway by 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Campers will not be allowed to line up at the Gateway before 11:00 a.m. This will be strictly enforced.  All vehicles over 10’ clearance use Gate 3 (far right entrance).  Anyone found occupying a camping space on prior to 11:15 a.m. on Saturday morning will be removed from the site and will forfeit their right to camp on Pikes Peak.  Camping permits are restricted to the camping site designated on the front of the permit.  Campers may leave their camp site, but must return to the site before the Gateway closes at 6:00 p.m. There is no highway traffic after 6:00 p.m.  Campers who leave their site once they are on the mountain do so at their own risk.  Tent Campers/Car Campers only, who wish to view the race on Sunday from a different spectator area, must notify law enforcement and volunteers in their camping area on Saturday evening. Campers must be ready to move a vehicle only (no trailers) to another spectator area when the highway opens at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. Campers must move all of their belongings in their vehicle as they will not be allowed to return to the camp site. If you are camping in a trailer or RV, you may not leave your camping area to view from another spectator area.  No trailers on Race Day - Trailers allowed for overnight camping with permit only on Saturday.  NEW - Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain is now a NO SMOKING campus from the Gateway to the Summit. This includes all pit areas, spectator viewing areas and while on the . All employees, contracted employees, special event participants, and officials are prohibited from smoking any cigarette, pipe, cigar, or electronic smoking device on the property unless a designated area is provided. Smoking any of the above is allowable in personal vehicles only; however, all ashes, butts, etc. must remain in the car. Furthermore, Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain is federally owned property and possession of marijuana is prohibited.  Open fires are prohibited. Gas and propane stoves with shutoff valves are allowed (pending any local restrictions, laws or bans).  Off-Highway Vehicles (dirt bikes, ATVs, etc.), bicycles and unlicensed vehicles are not allowed at any time on the mountain, no exceptions.  No pets are allowed on Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain during race activities including overnight camping.  No fireworks.  No firearms.

 All camping locations are primitive sites with no hookups. There are no provisions to dispose of gray or black water, no electricity and no water.

Area Specific - Glen Cove, Ski Area, and Halfway Picnic Grounds:  Maximum length for motor homes and trailers – 24 ft. (19 ft. wheel base maximum).  Maximum length for 5th wheels (not including tow vehicle)- 26 ft. (The 26 ft. restriction is for the 5th wheel only; it is not the total length including the tow vehicle).

Area Specific - 9 Mile:  9 Mile is tent camping only.  No motor homes, 5th wheels, trailers, mini buses or vehicles with more than 6 seats.  No Race Day parking is available at 9 Mile. If friends and family want to meet campers on Race Day, 9 Mile will NOT be open for additional parking.

Children:  The PPIHC is an exciting event for the whole family, but it can be unpredictable. By all means, bring the kids, but keep them under close supervision. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children 9 and under are admitted free of charge.

COVID Information  All ticketed or credentialed personnel attending any PPIHC event agree to abide by current COVID restrictions and regulations in force at that time. These may include wearing face coverings or masks, social distancing or other measures mandated by federal, state or local agencies.

Conduct  PPIHC reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without refund of any portion of the ticket price, to refuse admission to or eject any person(s) whose conduct is deemed inappropriate or detrimental to the enjoyment or safety of others.

Course Rules:  No pets are allowed on Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain during any race activities.  No fireworks.  No open fires.  No firearms.  No drones.  NEW - Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain is now a NO SMOKING campus from the Gateway to the Summit. This includes all pit areas, spectator viewing areas and while on the Pikes Peak Highway. All employees, contracted employees, special event participants, and officials are prohibited from smoking any cigarette, pipe, cigar, or electronic smoking device on the property unless a designated area is provided. Smoking any of the above is allowable in personal vehicles only; however, all ashes, butts, etc. must remain in the car. Furthermore, Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain is federally owned property and possession of marijuana is prohibited.  Once you drive above the Start Line, you will not be able to leave the mountain or go back down the course until the race is completed. Depending on how the race progresses (course or weather delays) this can be any time after 4:00 p.m.

 Within the spectator viewing areas, all spectators must stay as far back from the race course as possible.  All spectators must remain inside designated areas, indicated on Spectator Maps.  Do NOT stand behind orange fencing under any circumstance. Orange fencing in a spectator viewing area indicates a prohibited area.  Everyone in spectator viewing areas is encouraged to have some sort of barrier protection if possible (rocks, trees, and vehicles etc.). Fencing does not qualify as a barrier protection. For those who do not have barrier protection, it is recommended to view from higher ground in order to elevate yourself from the race course.  Each spectator is expected to obey requests from PPIHC Course Officials, PPIHC Staff and Volunteers, Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain Rangers and Law Enforcement.  Motor homes will not be allowed through the Gateway on Race Day.  Stay off of and away from hay bales and guard rails.  Off-Highway Vehicles (dirt bikes, ATVs, etc.), bicycles and unlicensed vehicles are not allowed at any time on the mountain, no exceptions.  The Pikes Peak Highway is a mountain toll road 364 days out of the year, and a race course for one day. There is no grandstand seating at the PPIHC. Bring a camp chair or a blanket.

Directions: Pikes Peak is just a few miles west of Springs, and about a 90 minute drive south of The International Airport. The Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain Gateway is located at 5089 Pikes Peak Highway, Cascade, CO 80809. The Main PPIHC Pit Area and Start Line is just over 7 miles (11.27 km.) past the Gateway and is located here.

From Denver International Airport (DIA):  Exit the airport on Pena Blvd. Take E-470 South (toll road) for about 34 miles. Then exit onto I-25 Southbound to Colorado Springs. In approximately 55 miles, take Exit #141 for US- 24/West Cimarron St. Continue West on US 24 for about 9.5 miles. Turn left onto Fountain Avenue and continue for approximately 0.3 miles where you will then take a slight left to continue onto Pikes Peak Highway.

From (COS):  Exit the Airport on Milton Proby Parkway/Drennan Road. After approximately 4 miles, turn left on South Academy Blvd. In approximately 1.8 miles, merge onto I-25 North and continue for approximately 5.7 miles. Take Exit #141 for US-24/West Cimarron St. and continue West on US 24 for about 9.5 miles. Turn left onto Fountain Avenue and continue for approximately 0.3 miles where you will then take a slight left to continue onto Pikes Peak Highway.

Drones:  Drones are prohibited at all PPIHC events.

Fan Fest:  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Fan Fest will not be held in 2021.

First Aid: Emergency Medical Services:  Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will be available at locations placed along the Race Course. These locations can be found on the Yokohama Course Map

 First Aid Stations may be located at each Spectator Area adjacent to the Information Tent on Race Day only. Altitude Sickness:  The race starts at 9,300 ft. and finishes at 14,115 ft. Signs of high altitude sickness include nausea, dizziness and fainting. To reduce the severity of the illness, medical experts recommend you drink plenty of water and refrain from caffeine and/or alcohol. If you are visiting the area and are not used to being at altitude for long periods of time (12-14 hours) we recommend that you enjoy the race from one of the lower spectator areas. Hot/Cold:  Be aware of the warning signs of heat related emergencies. Heat can affect almost anyone, but people of particularly high risk are the very young, very old, overweight and those doing strenuous activities. Drink plenty of water.  Mornings can be chilly to extremely cold and windy. Certain areas on the mountain may not receive sunlight until mid-morning. Areas in the Upper Section are seldom warm. Dress accordingly.

Food:  Food vendors may be available on the mountain at various locations (cannot be guaranteed, weather permitting). Please bring adequate food and water in case there is no vendor.  Gas or propane stoves with shut off valves are permitted; self-contained charcoal grills are prohibited. No open fires.  Please bring cash if you plan to purchase from food vendors.

Fuel/Gas:  It is recommended to have at least 3/4 tank of fuel in your vehicle when venturing up Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain. The nearest gas station is over 8 miles to the east and west on Highway 24 from the Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain Gateway.

Hiking:  During Race Week (June 22-25) early morning hikers on Pikes Peak should be cautious while hiking along or on the road as access is restricted due to PPIHC practice sessions until 8:30 a.m.  Trail #753 from Devils Playground to the summit of Pikes Peak, will be temporarily closed at Devils Playground on Sunday, June 27th. The temporary closure is necessary for public safety reasons during the 99th Running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The temporary trail closure will be in effect on Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 12:01am until 6:00pm. #620 will be open to the summit of Pikes Peak. Access to the summit and the Summit House may be restricted. Please contact the Pikes Peak Ranger District Office (719-636-1602) for more information.

Maps:  Spectator Area Maps and Yokohama Course Map

Parking:  All spectators, Media and VIP’s must park in designated spectator parking areas. There is no reserved parking for Media or VIP’s.  Spectators may park at the following designated areas: Below the Start Line, Halfway Picnic Grounds, Ski Area, Glen Cove, Cove Creek and Devils Playground. No spectator parking will be allowed anywhere along the course except in these seven designated parking areas.  Parking passes are not required to park in any of the designated locations. Spectators are not guaranteed a parking spot if specific locations are full. Parking at the spectator viewing areas is on a first come, first served basis.  Spectator vehicles will not be allowed above Devils Playground.  Any spectators who park their vehicle in an area other than a designated parking area may be towed and impounded at the owner’s expense.  It is very important that you determine where you want to park prior to coming to the event. If you pass a designated parking area on your way up, you will not be able to come back down to that area. There is no downhill traffic on Race Day.  Plan to be in your parking area well before the race start time of 7:30 a.m. No spectator vehicles will be allowed above the Official PPIHC Start Line (approximately six miles uphill from the Pikes Peak Highway Gateway.) after 5:00am. o If parking is at maximum capacity in the spectator areas above the Start Line, the PPIHC reserves the right to close the Start Line prior to 5:00am. If spectator areas above the Start Line are not full by 5:00am, the PPIHC may close the Start Line after 5:00am.  Once you are on the mountain, unless you park below the Start Line, you will not be able to leave until the race has concluded. Depending on how the race progresses (course or weather delays) this can be any time after 4:00 p.m.

Pets:  No pets are allowed on Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain during Race Week, including overnight camping.

Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain Gateway Entrance Information:  All vehicles over 10’ clearance use Gate 3 (far right entrance)  Use the right lane only. No left lane uphill traffic.

Post-Race: Parade of Champions:  At the completion of the race, spectators will be allowed to stand outside of the fences (but behind the white lines of the road) for the Parade of Champions. Once the competitors have descended from the summit, spectators will be released from the top of the mountain to the bottom.

Post-Race Exit:

 A Race/Law Enforcement Official will release your parking area from Devils Playground down.  Devils Playground-Cove Pit: one-way traffic, two lanes downhill (weather permitting).  Cove Creek – Crow Gulch: one-way traffic, two lanes downhill.  Crow Gulch – Highway 24: two-way traffic, one lane downhill.  Use a low gear on your descent. Hot Brakes Fail!

Practice / Qualifying:  Practice dates are June 22-25, 2021.  To attend Practice, you must purchase tickets for that specific practice day.  Practice Day tickets must be purchased in advance – PURCHASE NOW!  Quantities are limited.  Practice sessions last 3 hours, beginning at approximately 5:00 a.m. and ending at 8:30 a.m.  Gates open at 4:00 a.m. and close at 4:45 a.m. No Exceptions.  The Start Line is approximately 7 miles past the Gateway.  The Start Line closes to uphill traffic at 4:45 a.m. For those wishing to view from above the Start Line, plan to arrive at the Gateway at 4:00 a.m.  Spectators may view the sessions from the Start Line, Glen Cove or Devils Playground only.  Spectators found outside of these areas are subject to trespassing tickets.  Spectators are not allowed to move up or down the course once Practice has started.  The course is divided into three sections: o Lower Section – Start Line to the switchback below Glen Cove . This is the Qualifying Section o Middle Section – Glen Cove to 16 Mile o Upper Section – Devils Playground to the Summit  Spectators attending a Practice session will only see the cars assigned to practice on a specific section each day.  Practice/Qualifying Day #1: Tuesday, June 22 o Upper Section: Exhibition, Open Wheel & Porsche Pikes Peak Trophy by o Yokohama o Middle Section: Time Attack #1 & Unlimited o Lower Section (Qualifying): Pikes Peak Open

 The Practice session on Friday, June 25th is optional for competitors. There is no qualifying on this day.  Official qualifying times will be determined on the lower section of the course at Practice sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Preserving Pikes Peak:  The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is committed to preserving Pikes Peak’s beautiful environment, which has provided a thrilling setting for the Race to the Clouds for 100+ years. We have done everything possible to prevent any negative impact on these beautiful surroundings, and encourage spectators to do the same by observing these principles of “Leave No Trace.” o Pack It In, Pack It Out – dispose of trash and garbage properly; please clean up your viewing area before you leave. o Avoid fragile vegetation. o Avoid disturbing wildlife. o Rock climbing is strictly forbidden. o Tree stands are prohibited. No temporary structures may be created. Digging trenches and constructing lean-tos is illegal.

Restrooms:  Port-o-lets will be available at each spectator area. There are no permanent restrooms.

Souvenirs:  PPIHC souvenirs will be available at various locations throughout Race Week as well as year-round on our website.  On Race Day, PPIHC souvenirs will be available at the Start Line, Halfway Picnic Grounds, and Devils Playground.  Please bring cash if you plan to purchase souvenirs. Start and Estimated End Times:  Start: The Green Flag drops at 7:30 am  End: The end and/or finish time of the event is only a projection. On Race Day, race cars are released from the Start Line approximately every 4-5 minutes. With the current field size

and no red flags, the race would finish at approximately 2:00pm. However, over the past 5 years there have been an average of 2-3 hours of stoppage time (due to racing incidents, spectator issues, weather, etc.). The average time from the first green flag to the end of the race has been 9 hours.

Start Line Shuttle Service – Race Day only  Shuttles will be available from Crystal Reservoir and the Gas Pump parking areas to the Start Line. Shuttles will run from 2:30am until the last competitor crosses the finish line.  Spectators may bring coolers, camp chairs, strollers, blankets, umbrellas, food and beverages.

Terrain:  Anticipate steep and uneven rocky terrain. No sidewalks, no developed trails, no grandstand/reserved seating.

Tickets: Where to Purchase Tickets:  Tickets are sold online – PURCHASE NOW and throughout Race Week at various locations listed on the Race Week Schedule.  Tickets will NOT be sold at the Gateway.  PPIHC may limit the number of tickets sold to the 2021 event.

Ticket Prices:  Practice day tickets are $50 per day.  Camping Permits are $150 per vehicle.

 Race Day General Admission ticket prices vary based on the total number of attendees in a vehicle. There must be a functioning seatbelt for every attendee inside the vehicle. Tickets purchased online before Race Day (June 27, 2021) are discounted $10 each from their online Race Day prices.  There are no refunds.  No tickets will be sold after 10am on Race Day.  No admittance to the event after 12pm on Race Day.

Who needs a Ticket?  Anyone who is 10 years of age and over needs to purchase a race ticket.

Will Call:  If you purchased your Race Day Ticket or Camping Permit online, it is recommended that you print it in advance. If you are unable to print your ticket/permit, present your ID at Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain Gateway on Saturday, June 26th from 11:00am – 6:00pm (Camping Permit Only) or on Sunday, June 27th from 2:30 am – 10:00 am (Race Day Ticket Only).

Waivers: ACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY I hereby acknowledge that, by attending the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb event (“Event”), I will be exposed to a number of risks associated with attendance at the Event and/or by entering the construction site. I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF ATTENDING THE EVENT AND ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE EVENT, including by way of example and not limitation: a) Any and all risks before, during, or after the Event including, but not limited to; injury from objects thrown from spectator areas; injury from race track accidents involving vehicles of any type, parts of race track vehicles, or track debris; injury from fires; injury from natural debris such as rocks or tree limbs; and injury from lightning. b) Any and all risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released (“Releasees”). Releasees include, but are not limited to, The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, the Pikes Peak Auto Hill Climb Educational Museum, and any of their subsidiaries, affiliates, event participants, sponsors, officials, sanctioning bodies, and any of their employees, agents, officers, volunteers, directors, and other individuals affiliated with the Event.

In the event I am injured during the Event, I agree to promptly report to medical personnel before leaving the mountain.

On behalf of myself, my heirs, representatives, beneficiaries, and assigns, I hereby release and hold harmless the Releasees, of and from, and I do discharge and waive, any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, and liabilities that I may have or sustain with respect to any and all damage, illness, injury, of any type, and/or death, arising out of my attendance at the Event.

I further agree, as a credentialed attendee of the Event, that no unauthorized, non-credentialed or non-ticket holder(s) shall accompany me to the Event. If I violate this agreement I release and hold harmless the Releasees, of and from, and I do discharge and waive, any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, and liabilities that anyone may have or sustain with respect to any and all

damage, illness, injury, of any type, and/or death, arising out of my negligence.

I agree, by electronic acknowledgement or by signing below, that I have viewed, in full, all required training videos and fully understand their contents.

The PPIHC reserves the right to cancel the Event as well as all ancillary events at its own discretion. In the event of a cancellation, no refunds will be given.

By entering a construction site, I fully understand that construction and other activities at the construction site are dangerous and involve risk of serious injury, death, and/or property damage. I hereby release, waive, and discharge, and convenant not to sue, Pikes Peak Auto Hill Climb Educational Museum Inc, , the City of Colorado Springs, GE Johnson Construction, Pikes Peak - America’s Mountain, including, but not limited to, any and all employees, officers, and contract workers, from any and all damages, losses, penalties, liability, costs, attorney’s fees and expenses of any nature, and any demands, claims, suit, and causes of action therefore, arising out of or resulting from the Undersigned’s presence at the construction site.

RELEASE OF MEDIA AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS Any and all PPIHC events shall not be recorded or photographed for commercial purposes without the express written consent of The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (“PPIHC”). All media (including images, photos, video footage, and audio recordings) and intellectual property rights related to or associated with PPIHC and PPIHC events (collectively, “Media”), including the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb auto race (the “Race”), belongs to PPIHC, and is wholly reserved in perpetuity to PPIHC and its licensees. All Media from or related to PPIHC events, including but not limited to photos and footage, are part of the PPIHC’s intellectual property and can be used by PPIHC and/or its licensees for promotional purposes or any other purposes. All Media belongs to PPIHC and is for the PPIHC’s exclusive (except as agreed to by PPIHC), perpetual, and worldwide usage.

Any unauthorized use or sale of Media, including, but not limited to, reproduction, retransmission, or the making of or inclusion of Media into a broadcast, internet, web, motion picture, DVD or tape program, or any other form of distribution, without the prior express written consent of the PPIHC, is strictly prohibited. The licensing or sub-licensing of creative content from PPIHC events shall be strictly forbidden without the prior express written consent of the PPIHC. The PPIHC has the sole and exclusive rights to all creative content, including but not limited to images and footage taken by spectators at PPIHC events and/or persons without media credentials. The PPIHC trademarked event name, any and all PPIHC photos, and the PPIHC course map are the property of the PPIHC and may not be utilized in any form for product sales without express written permission from the PPIHC. Payment of appropriate licensing fee is required.

NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY When you enter a Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (“PPIHC”) event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. By entering the event or program premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, and/or video recording of yourself (collectively, “Materials”), and its/their release, publication, exhibition, reproduction, licensing, alteration, adaption, exploitation, or other use, in any format or medium now existing or hereafter created, and for any purpose, including but not limited to, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, publicity, and public relations by PPIHC and its affiliates, representatives, sponsors, and licensees (collectively, “Affiliates”). You release PPIHC and its Affiliates, their officers, employees, and agents, and each and all persons involved, from any liability connected with PPIHC’s or its Affiliates’ exercise of the rights contained in this Notice,

including, without limitation, liability for any violation of the right to publicity, for defamation, invasion of privacy, or emotional distress.

By entering the event or program premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use of these Materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibition, stream, broadcast, web cast, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission to the program or event is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any interview, photo, image, video and/or audio recording of yourself, taken by PPIHC or the person or entity designated to do so by PPIHC.

In the event of an accident/incident on or off the course, anyone attending the Event, whether credentialed or non-credentialed, may continue to film/shoot photos only if the driver is able to get out of the vehicle and there are no known injuries to the competitor, or anyone else involved. If the competitor is trapped in the vehicle, is unconscious or has significant obvious injuries, all parties in the vicinity will immediately cease capturing images either by camera, cell phone, or any other recording device and will instruct others to do the same. Any images or footage inadvertently captured by any spectator, race official, volunteer, sponsor, crew member or anyone else attending the Event will immediately be turned over to, and become the property of, the PPIHC, their legal representatives, and/or law enforcement. The PPIHC owns all media (including images, photos, video footage, and audio recordings) and intellectual property rights related to or associated with any crash/incident/or sensitive situation. The PPIHC may deem any media captured as “restricted” and that media belongs to PPIHC and is for the PPIHC’s exclusive (except as agreed to by PPIHC), perpetual, worldwide usage. This includes any and all Media captured that the PPIHC deems restricted.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND RELEASE OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE LIABILITY As a credentialed or non-credentialed attendee of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (“Event”), and related events, the undersigned acknowledges and agrees: a) I understand that my attendance and/or participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While certain restrictions and personal discipline may reduce this risk, I enter into the event(s) and premises and accept the risk of serious illness, possibly resulting in death. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation. b) I understand that the PPIHC and its representatives cannot guarantee that any precautionary measures taken by the PPIHC will fully protect anyone from being exposed to and/or contracting COVID-19 or any other contagion. I understand the symptoms of COVID-19 include, but are not limited to fever, fatigue, cough, and shortness of breath. c) I affirm that I, and all members of my immediate household and/or race team, do not currently have any of the above symptoms and have not experienced any of the above symptoms within the last fourteen (14) days. In the event that I, or any of the members of my immediate household and/or race team, experience any of the above symptoms after I sign this release, I agree that none of us will enter the Event until fourteen (14) days have elapsed since such person has experienced such symptom(s). d) I affirm that I, along with all members of my immediate household and/or race team, have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last thirty (30) days and have not been knowingly exposed to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last thirty (30) days. In the event that I, or any member of my immediate household and/or race team, is diagnosed with COVID-19, or is knowingly exposed to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19, after this release has been executed, none of us will enter the Event until thirty (30) days have elapsed since such diagnosis or exposure.

You agree that you have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.

Weather:  View the current weather at the Summit of Pikes Peak here.  Weather on Pikes Peak- America’s Mountain is unpredictable. A typical June day can start out very sunny and warm, and turn intensely cold with rain, snow, fog or hail.  Lightning is common. In the event of lightning or hail, take shelter in your vehicle.  Dress in layers.  Apply sunscreen frequently.
