Charles Seely & Frances Hill Churchwardens EASTER LILIES AT ST. MICHAEL’S CHURCH Unfortunately yet again this year, we will not be able to hold this activity, whereby you can dedicate lilies to the memory of your loved ones. However, we intend to resume the tradition in 2022 as we know how many of you appreciate the opportunity to remember special people at a special time of year. A MESSAGE FROM ANJI HART To everyone who sent me cards, condolences and offers of help when my husband Colin died in January – thank you for your tributes to Colin, and your kindness to me. Anji Hart RENDHAM LITTER PICK 3 - 17 April Could you spare an hour sometime after the current lockdown rules change (hopefully between Saturday 3 April and Saturday 17 April) to help with the annual Village Litter Pick?

East Norse will supply rubbish bags but they are currently not lending litter pickers or bag hoops. The Parish Council will arrange insurance for us during this period and have kindly agreed to pay for a set of pickers which we can continue to utilise each year.

We cover all the roads around the village and also along the B1119 from Rendham as far as the A12. There will be plenty to collect and if you’d like to help it would be much appreciated. Please get in touch as soon as possible so I can get everything arranged.

It would be useful to know whether you are available for the first or second week so I can make best use of the equipment available and ensure that we adhere to national guidelines.

Hedgehog Street is a campaign to ensure hedgehogs remain a common and familiar part of British life. It has just celebrated its 10th anniversary. We’ve lost a third of all our hedgehogs since the millennium. Fortunately, hedgehogs love gardens and there are easy ways we can help them. Leave a bowl of water out, leave gaps in your fences, don’t tidy up too much! Leave piles of leaves or a log pile to encourage nests.
