Tailgating A big football tradition is tailgating before, during and after the game. This includes the elaborate tent set-ups that go up on the Quad on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings before the game. Families will bring food, drinks and even TVs to their tents. These set-ups are a point of pride to the Tide fans. Come out early to enjoy pre- game festivities with the UA family. The Quad activities will end 1–1.5 hours after the game.
