Nestor Sanchez (El Abino Divino) Nestor Sanchez (El Abino Divino) Nestor Sanchez was born in 1950 in New York, United States. Considered by critics as one of the Top vocalist. The ” Divine Albino” died at age 53 in the Bronx, in New York. He had recorded more than 200 albums in a career that began at age 19 in New York in 1968 with the orchestra of Ray Rodriguez, Ray was the brother of the late Bobby Rodriguez. The recording was titled “Introducing Ray Rodriguez and his Orchestra ” and the second album was in 1969 with the same orchestra, the ” Disillusion ” album, both recordings Seal ” Alegre Records ” . In 1970 he joined the orchestra Tony Pabon with which he recorded six productions. Tony Pabon had his orchestra form after integrating and composing several hits for ” Magnificent ” by Pete Rodriguez. Tony Pabon was soul and strength that group. Time has given recognition. “Michele ” the most famous song in history is composition boogaloo Tony Pabon and sold over 500,000 copies. ” I like it like that” is part of the album of the same name in which he sings and the first trumpet Pabon makes Angelo Rodriguez. In the 6 albums ” Protest ” is the leading voice of Nestor Sanchez, in 1971 the album ” Tony Pabon and his All Stars ” features artists like Candido Rodriguez, the timpanist Ricardo Ray , Kenny Gomez ( the little teacher ) pianist Willie Colón and José Mangual Jr. mambo “Find ” stands out on the album , where the cry is heard in chorus “Down setting up cooperative ” in the piano solo Gómez . Good theme ” The Samaritan ,” which also evokes a voice of protest and wherein the first voice is the same and Tony Sanchez is the second voice , speaking evil of friendship : ” I thought that friendship , left to grow as the tree bore fruit , guys I ‘m really good raw friendship is not worth nothin . ” Reading the interview dated 1990 Emir Pabon Gómez ( see end of article) , why this bad feeling about friends and the foundation of the cooperative orchestra and his resignation to ” the magnificent” is clearly understood . In summary, in this interview , Pabon complains conductors and entrepreneurs. This album of ” all stars … ” starts a 6-year contract with Alegre Records , attracting a large following . It is in 1971 when Pabon and interpretation of Néstor Sánchez “Nana Sere ” , the first LP under the name of “Protest ” begins its ascendancy to stardom. Carlos Santos happen after the “Apollo Sound” Roena and record a best productions of Salsa , “El Progreso” ( Lamento de Concepción , El Progreso ) In 1976 , Néstor Sánchez joined the orchestra of the “Great Jew,” Larry Harlow , Junior Gonzalez replaces lead vocals and became part of the stars of the Fania label . Back then , Harlow recorded the album “Latin race” for Sanchez played a theme and the rest belonged to Panamanian Rubén Blades , where musically created the history of our race , from the Amerindians, the Spanish conquest and arrival of black African slaves . The next album , ” The Divine albino ” was the official presentation of the orchestra . It Sánchez and Harlow appear on the cover . This dance, now known as “on 2” mambo, or salsa, for its relationship to the clave, is the first uniquely North American form of vernacular Latino dance on the East Coast. This paper traces the New York mambo’s develop- ment from its beginnings at the Palladium Ballroom through the salsa and hustle years and up to the present time. The current period is characterized by increasing growth, commercialization, codification, and a blending with other modern, urban dance genres such as hip-hop. (colombia) En una vieja canción de Mecano (en este caso vieja quiere decir, ni más ni menos, que ninguno de mis alumnos la conoce) se oye como estribillo: “quise cortar la flor más tierna del rosal/ pensando que de amor no me podría pinchar/ y mientras me pinchaba me enseñó una cosa:/ que una rosa es una rosa es una rosa” (1). La frase final del estribillo fue tomada y traducida de Sacred Emily, un poema de Gertrude Stein publicado en 1913 en el que declara sin ambages: “Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose” (Rosa es una rosa es una rosa es una rosa) (2), dando desde la poesía una clara muestra de que conoce a profundidad los principios de la lógica clásica. Los tres principios fundamentales del razonamiento lógico en el pensamiento clásico y medieval (pero, sin lugar a dudas, útiles también en el pensamiento contemporáneo) son el principio de identidad, el principio de no contradicción y el principio del tercero excluido (3). El principio de identidad establece simple y llanamente que lo que es es (una rosa es una rosa). El principio de no contradicción, por su parte, establece que todo enunciado en el que se unan una frase y su negación mediante la conjunción copulativa “y”, es falso (esta flor es una rosa y no es una rosa). Aristóteles dice al respecto que nada puede ser y no ser al mismo tiempo y en el mismo aspecto o, en la traducción de Calvo-Martínez que “es imposible que lo mismo se dé y no se dé en lo mismo a la vez y en el mismo sentido” (4).

    Milton Cardona Milton Cardona, a Puerto Rican percussionist who was a mainstay of New York salsa, a studio musician on hundreds of albums and a Santeria priest who introduced sacred traditional rhythms to secular audiences, died on Sept. 19 in the Bronx. He was 69. The cause was heart failure, said his wife, Bruni. In Latin bands and at recording sessions led by David Byrne, Paul Simon, Herbie Hancock and many others, Mr. Cardona primarily played conga drums — generally not as a flashy soloist but as the kinetic foundation and spark of a percussion section. He was an authoritative advocate for some of Latin music’s deepest traditions; he was also a vital, innovative participant in many ambitious fusions. Mr. Cardona worked with the trombonist and bandleader Willie Colón on and off through four decades and was a member of the singer Hector Lavoe’s band from 1974 to 1987. He also recorded two albums as a leader and led the Santeria group Eya Aranla. Mr. Cardona was a santero, a priest of Santeria, the Afro- Caribbean religion rooted in the Yoruba culture of West Africa.
