Sponsorship and Vending Opportunities May 25, 2019 Originally started as a pool party and basement show in a local musician’s rural home, BLED FEST (short for “Big Love’s Educational Festival”) has grown into a haven for local and regional music fans of all backgrounds. A self-described one-day, punk rock “summer camp”, BLED FEST has hosted acts such as Andrew WK, Every Time I Die, Andrea Gibson, Trash Talk, Modern Baseball, Title Fight, La Dispute, and The Menzingers, all wrapped into a jam-packed day of diverse music spread throughout the halls of a suburban high school-turned-community center. Now, 15 years later, we’re saying goodbye - but not without one last party. The final BLED FEST will be held on May 25, 2019 at the Hartland Performing Arts Center in Howell, MI. Whether you’re a friend both old or new, we’d love to have you join us. ABOUT Date: Saturday, May 25, 2019 Location: Hartland Performing Arts Center in Howell, MI Attendance: 2,000 - 2,500 Performers: 70+ artists of multiple genres across five stages Demographic: Our attendees generally range from 13-30 years old, with a concentration of 17-21 year olds. 70% of our attendees are from Michigan, but we have a healthy amount of out-of-state attendees, and even some international attendees, as well! COMMUNITY PARTNER One of our initiatives with BLED FEST is to broaden the impact we have on our surrounding community beyond the day of our festival. Initiatives are open for discussion and can include panels, workshops, pre-festival or at-festival service activities, or a number of other endeavors. Package includes: 1. Finally Doylestown, Penn.’s Balance and Composure return to Rhode Island. The band, while often grouped in with the new explosion of emo and pop punk acts like Title Fight and Tigers Jaw, stand out by bringing a great understanding the soft / loud aspect of the bands that made alternative rock exciting in the 1990s like Nirvana, Jawbreaker and Sunny Day Real Estate. Their last full length, Things We Think We Are Missing reminds me of another favorite record that was influenced by similar acts, Cave In’s 2000 release Jupiter. Connecticut’s Ovlov also have a feel of the ’90s indie revival to them, reminding me of a punkier Sebadoh with touches of Lou Barlow’s previous band Dinosaur Jr. Westport, Mass.’s Wargames are also on the verge of becoming a national act. Check them out before they leave for their European tour this spring. 2. Sat, Jan 24: The Copacetics (CD Release), Riki Rocksteady, The Pomps, Out Of System Transfer; $10; 8pm; All ages; Firehouse 13, 41 Central St, Providence. The Copacetics’ new self-titled CD is a fantastic showcase of their talent — a perfect recording that captures what makes seeing them such a fun experience. An eight-piece rocksteady ska band that perfectly blends all the musicians for a cohesive and rewarding dance party. Lead track, “Summer’s Coming,” takes me away to a place that isn’t this miserable New England winter.

Yeah, so many of you have probably heard Stitched Sound is an online magazine that Issue 20 of the disastrous fire that happened in Slave brings you the latest news about upcoming Lake. It’s such a pity, and being from Alberta, I and distinguished bands. We do this through loved Slave Lake, it was just gorgeous and interviews, journalism, reviews, updates, and most of the people I encountered there were photography. Keeping the mood light and fun nothing but nice. There was also another fire is something we love to do. Whether it's up by Fort McMurray that spread insanely fast through an intriguing interview, simple update, and wide. Then today, while I was driving home or complete issue, we strive to bring you news from school, what else do I see but solid grey and updates about the fast growing music STITCHED SOUND smoke bursting up from a neighborhood? It’s scene today. crazy, and it puts a downer on the whole summer-time, bon fire thing. Plus many people Cynthia Lam have lost their homes and Anyway, that was a complete irrelevant subject, but it’s something that has been happening lately.
