Terrenget faller mot vest med en høydeforskjell på 25-30 m. Grunnen består av en mektig leiravsetning, 20 m eller mer. Under 2-4 m tørrskorpe er det et lag av forvitret leire. Derunder er leiren for en stor del sensitiv/kvikk. På rygger og platåer er dybden til den sensitive/kvikke leiren av størrelse 6-8 m.     DOI: 10.1515/irsr-2011-0020 IRSR INTERNATIONAL REVIEW of SOCIAL RESEARCH Volume 1, Issue 3, October 2011, 53-72 International Review of Social Research Among ‘Bananas’ and ‘Backyards’: A Statistical Analysis of the Effect of Risk and Scientific Literacy on the Attitude towards a Waste Co-incinerator in Italy Giuseppe TIPALDO• University of Turin Abstract: This paper, based on a social impact research and the possible NIMBY-effect of the Turin, Italy, co-incinerator, deals with risk perception, scientific literacy and their influence on the attitude towards high-tech and controversial industrial plants. The paper argues that plant and infrastructure settlements having a substantial ecological impact represent a highly sophisticated and diverse social phenomenon in which risk plays an important but not unique role. Taking into account some important concomitant variables (such as trust, mass media use, political culture in decision-making processes), it is first of all shown that risk is not a mono-dimensional concept, as assumed by the psychometric tradition, and that two dimensions of the concept are to be found. The collective dimension has a positive monotonic association with a critical attitude towards the co-incinerator, whereas the individual dimension has an unexpectedly negative correlation, which will be explained in further detail. It also demonstrates that scientific literacy has no statistical significance for attitude in our model, confirming the well-known limits of the so called ‘knowledge deficit’ model.     Pressemelding – badevannskvalitet uke 33 Miljørettet helsevern – Øvre Romerike har begynt å ta sommerens badevannsprøver i kommunene Eidsvoll, Gjerdrum, Hurdal, Nannestad, Nes og Ullensaker. Dette gjøres for å sikre at badevannet er trygt å bade i for store og små slik at ingen blir syke av å bade. Vannprøvene testes for E.coli og intestinale enterokokker. E. coli (Escherichia coli) og intestinale enterokokker er bakterier som stammer fra tarminnhold fra mennesker og dyr. Disse bakteriene dør når de ikke er i et varmblodig dyr. Intestinale enterokokker overlever lenger i naturen enn E.coli som kan overleve noen uker. I tillegg måles temperaturen på badevannet. Prøvene ble tatt den 10.august 2020. Resultatene viser verdier betryggende under grenseverdiene for de fleste av badeplassene, dvs at badevannskvaliteten er god, med unntak av Stensbydammen i Eidsvoll. Her er det forhøyede verdier av intestinale enterokokker. Det anbefales at man unngår å svelge vannet og at man da passer spesielt godt på barna. Dette vil bli fulgt opp med ny prøve i begynnelsen av neste uke. Med hensyn til temperatur så har det blitt litt varmere i vannet noen steder. Varmeste temperatur ble målt til 19 grader. Badeplassene framstår i det alt vesentlige som rene og ryddige. Korona-tiltak Også på badestrender er det fornuftig å følge noen retningslinjer for å begrense smitterisiko. Det anbefales at man her følger de samme rådene som ellers om: God håndhygiene – ikke alle badesteder har fasiliteter til dette, ta derfor med våtservietter eller antibac.     Serving Akershus and Oslo Fylker November 2017 Romerikslaget News Greetings from President Joel Botten It was great to see so many of you in Hudson, Wisconsin. It was an interesting weekend, highlighted by a special tour of the area. Woodville is a unique small town, obviously Norwegian, with eth- nic motifs in the sidewalks and carved trolls to welcome you. And, they know how to make Norwegian goodies! The lunch at Woodville Lutheran church was fantastic! The ladies of the church welcomed us dressed in Norwegian bunads and the Syttende Mai queen and attendants were present as well. Speakers shared area history including a review of the many years they have Happy Holidays celebrated the Syttende Mai. After a visit to a local museum, we went on to Hope Lutheran Church near River Falls, Wisconsin, where we had refreshments and were treated to music on a violin and a zither-like instrument called a Cittra. Akershus Fylke Our annual memorial service followed, after which we admired the items from the historic Eidskog church in Ortonville, MN, which Ovre Romerike- have been incorporated into the very new and modern Hope Eidsvoll, Feiring, Church. Interesting speakers, research in the genealogy center, vendor shopping Gjerdrum, Hurdal, and a gala banquet rounded out the weekend. We hope you plan to join the fun in Nannestad, Nes, Fergus Falls, Minnesota next year, Sept. 12-15, 2018 at the Big Wood Entertain- ment Center. Ullensaker I was pleased to be able to make a presentation at the Hudson stevne, a first for Nedre Romerike - me. I spent considerable time learning to make a power point complete with vide- Aurskog-Høland, os and music.
