East, South-East exposure Protected from prevailing winds to the west by La Madone and north by Mount Genas Vines 60 years old and older Surface: 3 Ha in a contiguous plot on the « Montgenas » climat sandy soil, quite stony surface, based on a saprolite and a pink granite with large crystals (porphyritic granite). The saprolite is moderately friable, allowing deep rooting VINIFICATION & AGEING Hand harvesting. Grilled fermentation tanks with 80% de-stemmed grapes. Fermentation for 15 to 18 days with gentle pumping over. Aged on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 9 months. TASTING NOTES An elegant and fruity wine with intense aromas of raspberry and strawberry with a floral touch of violet. The tannins are velvety and mouth is round, fleshy and full of character.
