  • National Comparative Audit of Lower Gastrointestinal Bleeding and the Use of Blood
National Comparative Audit of Lower Gastrointestinal Bleeding and the Use of Blood Results from a National Audit May 2016 This report has been endorsed by NHS Blood and Transplant, the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland, the British Society of Gastroenterology and the British Society of Interventional Radiology. The project has been funded by NHS Blood and Transplant and the Bowel Disease Research Foundation. Foreword This Audit, funded by NHS Blood and Transplant and the Bowel Disease Research Foundation, represents a tremendous amount of hard work and has produced data of the utmost importance for the development of a safe and efficient lower GI bleeding service. On behalf of ACPGBI I should like to pay tribute to everyone who participated in this project especially those who are mentioned in the Acknowledgements and the List of Participating Sites across the UK. Although lower GI bleeding rarely presents as major haemorrhage it is clear that many hospitals are not adequately set up to provide safe acute haemorrhage control. In addition, it appears that many patients admitted with lower GI bleeding are not investigated but are often transfused inappropriately. The recommendations stemming from this audit are practical, sensible and potentially lifesaving, and are fully endorsed by the ACPGBI. • {PDF EPUB} Mortimer & Whitehouse Gone Fishing
Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} Mortimer & Whitehouse Gone Fishing Life Death and the Thrill of the Catch by Bob Mortimer Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing: The perfect gift for this Christmas. Join these two comedy greats and lifelong friends on their journey from recuperation to riverbank in this hilarious and heart-warming audiobook that gives you a front-row seat at an exclusive Bob and Paul production. Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse have been friends for 30 years, but when life intervened, what was once a joyous and spontaneous friendship dwindled to the odd phone call or occasional catch up. Then, Glory Be! They were both diagnosed with heart disease and realised that time is short. They'd better spend it fishing . So they dusted off their kits, chucked on their waders and ventured into the achingly beautiful British countryside to fish, rediscover the joys of their friendship and ruminate on some of life's most profound questions, such as: How did we get so old? Where are all the fish? What are your favourite pocket meats? What should we do if we find a corpse? Following the success of the BBC's Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing series, this wonderful audiobook by two lifelong friends is a love letter to the joys of angling, the thrill of the catch and the virtue of having a right daft laff with your mates. On the fish, the equipment, the food, and the locations, Gone Fishing is the perfect audiobook for fans of Bob Mortimer, Paul Whitehouse and for anyone who wants to listen to a brilliantly written and endlessly funny joint memoir on life, friendship and joys of fishing.

That working party will consider the very House of Commons issues that the hon. Gentleman and many others have raised and then report back to me, and it would be Thursday 19 October 2017 reasonable for us to publish its findings early in the new year. The House met at half-past Nine o’clock Mr Philip Hollobone (Kettering) (Con): I declare an interest as a member of Kettering Borough Council. PRAYERS The taxi drivers and private hire drivers of Kettering do a fantastic job ferrying local people around, but all [MR SPEAKER ] in the Chair these things need regulation and the council does its best. Which council does the Minister think is the best at regulating the taxi trade in small towns? How might Oral Answers to Questions that best practice be rolled out across the country? TRANSPORT Mr Hayes: I would not want to pick from among all my favourite towns. However, there are concerns about The Secretary of State was asked— the inconsistent application of regulation and guidance, which is one of the things that the working party is Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Industries considering. The key thing is that there has been a lot of change, partly as a result of modern communications 1.
