Learn how to make money freelance writing for the casino/gaming industry! FREELANCE POKER WRITING: How to Make Money Writing for the Gaming Industry Buy The Complete Version of This Book at Booklocker.com: http://www.booklocker.com/p/books/2570.html?s=pdf Freelance Poker Writing by Brian Konradt 14 PREFACE This book is slightly ahead of its time. Freelance Poker Writing is the first book showing freelance writers how to make money writing for the gaming industry. Why now? Both poker and casino-style games have been growing in popularity — and so has the writing opportunities. If you search for “poker writing” or “legalized game writing” on Google, you won’t come up with much information on how to break into this industry as a freelance writer. This does not mean writing opportunities don’t exist or freelance writers aren’t making money writing about poker and gaming. If you dig long enough, interview the pros in the industry, and research everything about poker and gaming, you will come up with what I came up. And I crammed everything I found into this guide for you. WHAT IS FREELANCE POKER WRITING? There are many popular casino-style games, but nothing matches the growth and popularity of poker and how poker influences society. In writing this book I have focused more on the games and influences of poker than on any other casino-style games. I use the term “poker writing” in this book to mean writing about the games of poker, as well as writing about the influences of poker.

She played in five World Cups and three Olympic Games. She is a two-time world champion, a two-time gold medalist, a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Women’s Na- tional Soccer Team and she played in 352 games for her county—more than any other person in the world. She is the second leading scorer in the world behind Mia Hamm. Kristine was captain of the U.S. National Team from 2005-2007 and captain of the Boston Break- ers of Women’s Professional Soccer from 2001-2003, and again from 2009 to 2010. She was a five-time all-star for the Breakers and in 2010, the team retired her #13 jersey. Kristine played collegiately for the University of North Carolina, where she played in four ACC Championships, four NCAA Championships, held two captainships, and received four first-team All- America honors. She also had her jersey retired there. For the purpose of the interview conditioning is defined as soccer-specific development of speed, agility, mobility, strength/stability, power, speed/power endurance and aerobic endurance through train- ing, proper fueling and recovery methods to improve performance and prevent injury. BGN PC: You said that conditioning was the foundation of your career. Can you describe how you INT ADV laid this foundation through your experience? Who was influential in shaping this process? T-1 KL: The first person who put it into my head that conditioning was a lifetime commitment was Anson Dorrance of the University of North Carolina, who coached the Women’s National Team.

At first, they played in front of their friends and parents, but later they filled stadiums and, one of them, Mia Hamm, became the most widely known soccer player in the country. Hamm, Kristine Lilly, Julie Foudy and Joy Fawcett played in four Women’s World Cups, Brandi Chastain in three. The United States won two titles, but with a 3-0 defeat to Germany in the semifinals on Sunday, not only did this 2003 World Cup end prematurely for the Americans, but perhaps so did a groundbreaking era. These seminal players are expected to participate in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, then all or most of them will retire.
