The restrainer works great. It makes the furler work much smoother. The difficult part was determining the proper distance below the mast peak that the restrainer should be placed. I also added a shim and grease to prevent galvanic corrosion between the aluminum mast and the stainless steel restrainer. Restrainer in place...
