Dec 09, Melissa added Xena: Warrior Princess Omnibus: Volume 1 Shelves: read It made me feel like downloading the Xena: Warrior Princess Omnibus: Volume 1 series and watching it again. Dec 27, Chad rated it it was ok. Of course, Xena and her friends are elected to fight for the Greek pantheon. This has a lot more mythology in it than I realized was in Xena. The story wasn't half-bad and the art and coloring were fantastic, reminded me of Greg Land. Unfortunately, she's returne 1st Arc - 3 Stars The Greek and Egyptian gods get in a donnybrook and decide to declare champions to fight for them to determine the outcome of the war. Unfortunately, she's returned as a mustache twirling stereotypical bad guy. She burns villages down for the sheer fun of it. It's awful characterization. The Xena: Warrior Princess Omnibus: Volume 1 is terrible. Annual - 2 Stars Xena discovers a spaceship and fights 2 Predator knockoffs. It's a very odd mishmash of genres. Apr 11, Jenny Clark rated it liked it Shelves: dynamyte-. The last volume was strange, with aliens being mixed in with Xena Not bad but rather odd. Stephan Sejec has some of the best covers, as is to be expected. I've been running across his work a good bit lately. View 1 comment. Aug 27, Kelpie Books rated it it was amazing. Mar 22, Jessa Xena: Warrior Princess Omnibus: Volume 1 rated it liked it. As much as I love Xena and I really love Xena. I think I should stick to the Xena: Warrior Princess Omnibus: Volume 1. The comics never get her character right. Sep 28, Emily rated it it was ok. It was fine. Nothing special. The last story was pretty cool because spaceship and aliens. Jun 08, nidah05 SleepDreamWrite rated it really liked it. One of my all time favorite shows. So it was nice to see there was some graphic novels with stories on the character. The art style was interesting. May 28, Lara SapphicBookClub rated it it was amazing Shelves: 0-comics-on-shelveslgbtq-comics0-xena-stuff-i-own. Review for Dark Xena 5- 8 : The story here continues right after the events of FIN after the series ending as Gabby tries to do everything in her power to bring Xena back. To her credit, it only backfired a little, but she does an amazing job at trying to fix it. This is probably my favorite of all Xena: Warrior Princess Omnibus: Volume 1 comics. The art is amazing and the story feels authentic. I Xena: Warrior Princess Omnibus: Volume 1 Xia interesting, especially seeing how she was Xena's right hand and also had sai like Gabrielle did in later seasons too so that was a nice touch. Definitely recommend reading it if you're a Xena fan and want to read a FIN fix-it story! Review for Contest of Pantheons 1- 4 : If we're being honest, this might be my least favorite comics arc out of all the Xena comics. I'm glad we got to see more Callisto though and it was still a decent read but it just felt really weak after Dark Xena since it's supposed to come after it in the timeline. Still worth reading but it's definitely not making my 'best Xena comics' list. Review for Strange Visitor Xena Annual 1 : Fun short story, I'm definitely glad it was included in this omnibus since I'm not big fan Xena: Warrior Princess Omnibus: Volume 1 trying to track down all the single issues for my shelves. Overall: I gave it 5 stars just because I loved Dark Xena so much and I'm sure I would've enjoyed Contest of Pantheons if I didn't have such high expectations after it, but I still had fun reading it all.
