Fuentes primarias Para las operaciones militares se remite en lo que respecta al ejército francés a los archivos de Vincennes, donde la clasificación responde globalmente a una doble lógica : jerárquica (desde el Gran Cuartel General a los cuerpos de ejército) y técnica (por arma y por depar - tamento). Las acciones tácticas en detalle de cada nivel de mando se puede encontrar en los Journaux des marches et opérations (JMO), documentos reglamentarios. También puede ser útil el empleo de historias regimentales, aunque todas ofrecen una interpretación edul - corada de los acontecimientos al estar habitualmente escritos en el periodo de entreguerras.
