SENIOR MASTER SERGEANT JOSHUA E. LIVINGSTON

Senior Master Sergeant Joshua E. Livingston is the First Sergeant for the 673d Force Support Squadron, 673d Air Base Wing, Joint Base Elmendorf- Richardson (JBER), Alaska. His primary duties include advising the Commander on all matters concerning the health, morale, welfare, professional development and readiness of assigned military and civilian personnel. He provides guidance and leadership to those personnel with an emphasis on core values, mentorship, counseling, customs & courtesies, and dress & appearance. In addition to this, he also ensures personnel comply with commander’s policies and directive to deliver a ready and able force set to accomplish the mission.

Senior Master Sergeant Livingston grew up in Rapid City South Dakota and entered the Air Force in October 1999. Upon Graduation from Basic Military Training in November 1999, he completed a yearlong technical training program at Sheppard AFB, TX and Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. After graduating in February 2001, he has since held duty positions throughout the spectrum of the Diagnostic Imaging career filed to include experience as a diagnostic radiologic technologist, computed tomography technician, interventional radiographer, and magnetic resonance imaging technologist. His duty locations have included Wright-Patterson OH, Yokota AB, Japan, Keesler AFB, MS, Offutt AFB, NE, and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. During his military tenure, he has earned national certifications in routine radiology, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Senior Master Sergeant Livingston has deployed in direct support of Operations Southern Watch and Iraqi Freedom.

Prior to becoming a First Sergeant for the 673d Force Support Squadron, Senior Master Sergeant Joshua Livingston served as the Flight Chief for Air Force’s fourth busiest Diagnostic Imaging department located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
