1) Goshenite Seniors Services Inc. is offering transportation and driver companion services to seniors in the Greater Sudbury Area for those who live independently at home but can no longer drive. To inquire about the services and rates, call Nicole at 705-698-5318. 2) Red Cross, Sudbury Branch, Transportation Services Program. Due to covid-19, services are restricted to seniors who are already registered with the transportation program and who require support getting to dialysis or cancer treatment appointments, or other medical appointments if you have no other means to attend. Prior to booking a ride, a coordinator would also need to approve the transportation service for the medical appointment. Rates are: $15.30 for a 3 hour long round trip, above 3 hours, the rate would be $30.60. Subsidies are available. To inquire call: 705-674-0737.
