I also encourage you to take time to honor those who have helped you on your journey and have been rooting for you from the start — your family, friends, mentors and colleagues.
As graduates in the field of medicine, you are entering an era that needs you like no other time in our memory. This pandemic has illustrated the immense importance of strong healthcare systems. It has also taught us vital lessons about vulnerability, inequality and access to care. As we recover from the pandemic, you are well-equipped to contribute to the creation of a more prepared, more resilient and more just society.

Academic attire had its beginnings in the clerical garb of 12th century Europe. By the 14th century, TEACHING AWARDS Excellence in Teaching with Humanism academic dress had been standardized throughout medieval Europe and the styles have changed Kaiser-Permanente and Lucien B.
