Introduction The Taranaki Regional Public Transport Plan (RPTP or the plan), prepared by Taranaki Regional Council (the Council), is a strategic document that sets out the objectives and policies for public transport in the region, and contains details of the public transport network and development plans for the next 10 years (2020-2030). Purpose This plan provides a means for the Council, public transport operators and other key stakeholders to work together in developing public transport services and infrastructure. It is an instrument for engaging with Taranaki residents on the design and operation of the public transport network. -
