As a coordinating body for nine information security labs dedicated to academic and applied research, the IISP leverages intellectual capital from across Georgia Tech and its external partners to address vital solutions for national security, economic continuity, and individual safety. The IISP provides a gateway to faculty, students, and scientists and a central location for national and international collaboration around six critical research thrusts: policy, consumer-facing privacy, risk, trust, attribution and cyber physical systems. Unbound by system rigidity, the IISP is creating solutions that close the innovation gap with immediate application in the real world. www.iisp.gatech.edu Science France-Atlanta Media Kit 4 Mathematical Modeling in Cardiovascular Healthcare WHEN: October 20-21 | 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. WHERE: Day 1 – Emory University| Math & Science Building – Room E408 (400 Dowman Dr NE, Atlanta 30322) Day 2 – Emory University Hospital | Hurst Conference Room – Room E405 (1364 Clifton Rd, Atlanta, GA 30322) Leading mathematicians and computer scientists from France and the U.S. will participate in a two-day scientific workshop focused on clinical challenges in coronary and aortic diseases at Emory University on October 20-21.
