Our Dearest Hannah, Thank you for your love, gentleness and service. You are the greatest horse anyone could ever hope for. You will live in our hearts forever.!

My Friend Susan and I had to say good-bye to our Hannah a couple of weeks ago. We are grateful to veterinarians and staff at Surgicare in Brandon for doing their very best to save her. They treated her with love and care. Every time I spoke with a staff member, they made me feel loved as well. When I knew we would have to let her go, I wanted to ask for a lock of her hair, but I could not get the words out for all the pain I was feeling. After Hannah had gone home to be with the lord, they called me and said they were mailing her things to me, including the hair from her tail and a brochure about a company called Pony Locks. Pony Locks preserves locks of hair in beautiful pieces of jewelry. I was so touched by the gesture of the Surgicare and the concept of Pony Locks, that I wanted to share it with our readers.
