Other Names Curculionid Beetle Curculios Snout Beetles 2.5. Diagnostic Notes **Adult** Small, narrow, elongate. Total body length less than 5 mm. Brown or piceous. Body lacking surface deposit. Rostrum shorter than pronotum, straight cylindrical. Antenna with funicle of 6 articles; antennal club not compressed, elongate-oval; antenna with scape projected at least past anterior margin of eye. Epimera of mesothorax transverse, acute at outer end, and intervening between base of pronotum and humeri. Front part of last dorsal segment of abdomen channeled for reception of sutural edge of elytra.
