Music Series Continues with British‐American Ensemble Floyds Row at Arts Barn

Gaithersburg, MD – (January 3, 2018) Gaithersburg’s Arts on the Green continues its music season into the new year with British‐American ensemble Floyds Row on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 8 p.m. at the Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road. Admission is $25, $15 youth 18 and under. Purchase tickets online here.

Formed in Oxford, UK, roots revival band Floyds Row fuses a variety of musical styles, exploring early, folk, classical, roots, Americana, traditional, and newgrass on a range of modern and period instruments. The intimate performance features works written, co‐written and arranged by trio Emily Noël, George Lykogiannis, and Andrew Arceci.

"No two shows are alike, but the performances guarantee an eclectic mix of traditional pieces from composers of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, covers from modern folk singers such as , , and the , as well as original compositions that pull from the meld of the traditional and the classical," says Dominique Agnew of the North Potomac Times.

The Arts on the Green music series features engaging concerts showcasing an eclectic mix of Americana, , classical, contemporary, traditional, and in an intimate and inviting setting.
