• 76 808 (1 318 during last 24 hours) laboratoryEpidemiological confirmed COVID-19 cases situation as of the reporting period. • 131 177 (1 805 during last 24 hours) suspected COVID-19 cases as of the reporting period. • Case positivity rate is 58.6%. • Daily growth factor in reporting cases is 1.04 (new cases reported today/new cases reported yesterday). • Number of lethal cases is 1 819 (31 in last 24 hours). • Case fatality rate is 2.4%. • Number of confirmed cases among healthcare workers is 8 985 (67 in last 24 hours). • Total number of recovered patients is 42 524 (997 in last 24 hours). • Bed occupancy rate is 19.32% (28 305 beds are available, 5 314 are occupied). • Total number of PCR tests conducted is 1 114 939 (17 976 in last 24 hours).

Latest measures of the government and other agencies
• On August 1, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of July 22, 2020 №641 "On the introduction of quarantine and the stepping up anti-epidemic measures in the area with a significant spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by coronavirus SARS -CoV-2" comes into force.
• The Central Commission for Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies has identified the regions
according to the level of epidemic danger of COVID-19. The red zone will include Lutsk, Ternopil and Kitsmansky raion of Chernivetska oblast. • Minister of Health gave detailed explanations on the rules of adaptive quarantine in the country. • The third cycle of training starts on August 1 on the platform of distance courses of the Public Health Center.
