ITV Racing: Glorious Goodwood Tuesday-Friday, 1.30pm 28th-31st July ITV

Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani present one of the biggest weeks on the racing calendar, bringing us the most important action from Goodwood Racecourse.

The Goodwood Cup dominates proceedings on Tuesday, while the Sussex Stakes on Wednesday could easily be one of the races of the season. Thursday is home to the Group One Nassau Stakes, while Friday’s feature is the King George Stakes.

In this first of three parts, Joanna begins her journey in the Far East on the frozen Japanese sea of Okhotsk, before we travel with her across China and Mongolia. Then, we head to Lake Baikal in Siberia, where she meets some quite magnificent seals.

Going behind the scenes at some of Britain’s most iconic food factories to discover how they keep the shelves stocked and put food on our tables.

We’re in Yorkshire this time around, looking at how Aunt Bessie’s make millions of Yorkshire puddings a year. Then we see how Yorkshire Tea turn out tea bags by the truck full, and Birdseye’s race against time to get peas from the field to the freezer.

A cut-down version of the original series in which one of the greatest hotels in the world - The Ritz - opens its doors and allows cameras to take a peek inside.

In this opener, we meet executive chef John Williams, who is preparing to launch a cook book revealing The Ritz’s famous recipes. Plus, Penny Lancaster is in the hotel to enjoy some cocktails, and concierge Michael De Cozar celebrates 46 years of service.
