    EUROPEAN SAILING FEDERATION THE CONTINENTAL ASSOCIATION FOR SAILING IN EUROPE SUPPORTING SAILING IN EUROPE SINCE 1998 President and Executive Board Report To be delivered at the 2021 Ordinary General Assembly in compliance with article 15.5.a of the Constitution, on 17/04/2021. This 2021 President and Executive Board Report follows the text of Key Priorities (v.3) approved on 14/05/2019 by the Executive Board, with small amendments. Where a development has occurred, we present a detailed explanation in blue type. Sometimes a development concerns several items in a section and also several sections. When delving into a prospective, forward-looking point of view, italics are added. 1. Vision: More Sailors, More Fun, More Success “Let’s help create the conditions to bring more people to have fun sailing and to succeed as sailors and as persons with sailors at the centre of our attention.” The Executive Board wants to take what is probably a core goal of EUROSAF Members to the Continental level. How? By leveraging EUROSAF’s vantage position to coordinate projects across Europe and to facilitate resource and knowledge sharing among Members. To achieve this vision together with the Members, the Executive Board shall rebuild trust and increase cooperation, working constructively and inclusively for sailing in Europe. 2. Value for Members: EUROSAF’s Raison d’Être EUROSAF must bring value to its Members. The Executive Board shall implement projects to that end. The Executive Board constantly addresses the issue of the cost and the worth of EUROSAF meetings, in line with observations received from several Members, with the view that attending meetings must distract as few resources as possible from sailing activities and EUROSAF meetings must bring value to Members and delegates.

    Convenzione sulla manipolazione delle competizioni sportive: il Consiglio federale avvia la procedura di consultazione Berna, 16.09.2016 - Il Consiglio federale ha avviato la procedura di consultazione concernente l’approvazione della Convenzione del Consiglio d’Europa sulla manipolazione delle competizioni sportive. La procedura di consultazione si concluderà il 23 dicembre 2016. La corruzione e la manipolazione delle competizioni sono diventate un grande pericolo per lo sport. Nella maggior parte dei casi simili, accordi hanno lo scopo di ottenere vincite da scommesse illegali. In considerazione della rapida crescita a livello mondiale delle scommesse sportive, legali e illegali, lo sport non è più in grado di affrontare da solo il fenomeno e dipende pertanto dall'aiuto delle istituzioni statali. Il Consiglio d'Europa ha quindi elaborato una convenzione giuridicamente vincolante firmata il 18 settembre 2014 a Macolin in occasione della 13a Conferenza dei ministri dello sport del Consiglio d'Europa. La convenzione entrerà in vigore dopo la ratifica da parte di cinque Stati. Gli Stati che aderiscono alla Convenzione di Macolin si impegnano, tra l'altro, a emanare norme penali efficaci e a rafforzare la collaborazione nonché la reciproca assistenza giuridica nel quadro della lotta contro la manipolazione delle competizioni sportive. Fornisce inoltre raccomandazioni per gestire gli organizzatori di scommesse sportive nonché provvedimenti che devono essere adottati dalle organizzazioni sportive. Pla It has come to Group G´s knowledge that you as president for EUROSAF and a representative of the EUROSAF organisation have been attending meetings in Lausanne with IOC members and staff in order to promote a presidential World Sailing campaign and to bring doubt about the support of the adopted slate of Olympic events, especially the Offshore Keelboat for the Olympics 2024. EUROSAF is a regional association made up of World Sailing members, who´s key purpose is to work with development of European Sailing and not to have any political mission. As such, your actions are an abusive misuse of the mandate given to the EUROSAF organization and the role that you hold as the president of the EUROSAF organization. It is unacceptable to use the EUROSAF platform for a pure political agenda without informing the EUROSAF member nations and obtain a mandate for supporting such matters. Your actions are clearly outside of the EUROSAF mandate and it should be obvious that you required the consent of all EUROSAF MNAs’ before you ventured on a political campaign in World Sailing and cast doubt over the decisions made in World Sailing in respect of Olympic events and equipment. We request, that you; • Stop immediately all political work in the name of EUROSAF in relation to World Sailing, including matters regarding the composition of the World Sailing Board and the Olympic events. • Reply in writing to Group G regarding your aim as president for EUROSAF regarding political issues for EUROSAF. • Continue to support and work with the European Sailing Development within Europe as the task for EUROSAF.

    THE NORDIC SAILING FEDERATION Statutes 1. STATUS The Nordic Sailing Federation (”NoSF”) is a body for cooperation among its members and consists of the national authorities for the sport of sailing in the respective countries that belong to Group G, as from time to time defined by the International Sailing Federation (“ISAF”). The geographic area covered by the members of NoSF is hereinafter referred to as the “Nordic” or the “Nordic area”. 2. OBJECTS The objects of NoSF are to further the sport of sailing in the Nordic area and to contribute to the cooperation among the member national authorities among others by: (i) Promoting common prescriptions as allowed under the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing. (ii) Approving of Nordic one design classes and the class rules for these. (iii) Cooperating in matters of common interest in respect of ISAF. (iv) Implementing necessary measures for the promotion of the sport of sailing in the Nordic area. (v) Exchanging experiences as well as cooperating among others in matters regarding - training - education - work with young sailors - administration. 3. MEMBERSHIP IN NoSF Each member of Group G referred to in 1. above shall be eligible for membership in NoSF. 4.
