“Overall, I had a great experience at Bear Mountain last year. The facility is great and in really good condition and the workers are always really nice. Having the ability to go out and play and having Matt (Team Canada coach Matt Wilson) look over my swing really helped a lot with keeping my game up during the start of the season. My host family was amazing, Cathy was very open and welcoming and although we are both from different cultural backgrounds, she was quite accepting of who I was as a person. It was great being able to play different big events such as the British Girls and the CP Women’s Open. Without Golf Canada, I would not have been able to attend these events at such an early age and they were both great experiences. Having Jenn as my fitness trainer also helped a lot as well, I gained a lot of strength last year and so for her, I am really grateful as it helped with my swing.”
