GOALTENDERS (ALPHABETICAL) South Division Kerry Huffman is currently in his third with the . Kerry took over as interim head coach on December 17, 2018 when Scott Gordon was named the interim head coach for the Flyers. Kerry has served as the assistant coach since 2016-17. Before coming to the Lehigh Valley, he spent one season as the General Manager and Assistant Coach with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights of the North (NAHL).

Huffman, 51, produced 37 goals, 108 assists, 145 points and 361 minutes across 401 career NHL games during time with the , Nordiques and Senators. A first-round selection (#20 overall) by Philadelphia in the 1986 NHL Entry , he tallied 23 goals, 61 assists, 84 points and 124 penalty minutes in 207 career games with the Flyers.

Kerry was born in Peterborough, and currently resides in . After a thirteen year professional playing career he retired and created ProAthlete Loan, a company that specialized in helping professional athletes secure various types of financing. Kerry’s love and passion for the game brought him back to work in the representation field and became a NHLPA certified player agent. He has worked with management companies that have been in existence since the early 80′s that have represented some of the most successful people in the field of professional sports as well as music and entertainment.

Kerry also created Platinum Hockey Group Consulting Company and has worked with companies that have represented and advised players at all levels including current NHL stars like Mike Cammelleri, , , and Olli Yokinen, Scott Gomez as well as former stars , , , Tim Kerr, , Scott Mellanby, Garth Snow, , Craig Berube, Gord Murphy, Bob Corkum, and Murray Craven. Kerry has worked with players in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, Europe and Major Junior, and has advised young players in minor hockey and college on the many complex situations they have faced.

Terry Murray returns to the Phantoms organization after serving as an Assistant Coach with the Buffalo Sabres. Prior to that, Murray was the Head Coach of the Adirondack and Lehigh Valley Phantoms for three seasons from 2012-2015, including the Inaugural Season at PPL Center. Murray served as the Phantoms honorary when the 2017 AHL All-Star game was held in Allentown.

Murray, 68, has over 30 years of professional coaching experience including serving as the Head Coach of the Capitals from 1989-1993, the Philadelphia Flyers from 1994-1996, the Panthers from 1998-2001, and the from 2009-2011. Murray has also served as an assistant coach for the from 1983-1988, the Philadelphia Flyers from 2003-2008 and the Buffalo Sabres from 2015-17. He has a 499-383-130 record as an NHL head coach.

A native of Shawville, Quebec, Murray played 302 career NHL games, spending time with the Golden Seals, Philadelphia Flyers, , and Washington Capitals. Murray also won the Award two consecutive years as the AHL’s best defenseman in 1977-78 and 1978-79. BRIDGEPORT SOUND TIGERS: PLAYERS BIOS
